I had some kind of visual glitch/artifact when alt+tabbing or minimize an UWP app with this driver on Windows 11 22H2 Beta Build 22621.1 . Installed back the previous driver ( 512.59 ) and now it seems to have come back to normal. (So far)

I have an issue I'd rather not open another topic for. I have a 65 inch 4K TV connected to the PC. I use 3840x2160 but being so big in actual games I prefer ultrawide resolutions (3840x1600). My problem is many games turn to black screen when I change to such resolution, although they appear properly in the background when I alt tab out of the game (mostly UE games); other games such as Forza Horizon 5 or God of War work flawlessly. Is there something I should try? Already played around with the scaling in the Nvidia Control Panel with no luck.

Yeah. My game freezes after 10-20 minutes. You are not alone.

I miss that update, I update from 512.15. So maybe it was resolved in 512.59 I don't try that.

The legacy pack doesn't have these 3 files in it needed anywhere. Anyone used this before?

This right here. Out of curiosity I checked the video then the reddit post references, that shouldn't impact game crashes.

On Windows Insider, there was one DEV build a couple of months ago where Windows Defender was hogging too much resources, outside its normal use case, and that was fixed within a week. I don't believe the stable or even beta ever had this issue.

EDIT: If excluding the game from defender did help in your case, perhaps it is the extra small CPU usage spikes that are causing the crashes in game, but that is very unlikely as Defender usually just checks the .exe as soon as you boot the game and it doesn't care after that once it deems it safe.

Or maybe by their own admission because they never do Windows Update, or have it blocked probably, their Windows Defender is out of date, stuck with an old version that has an issue, they have malware or a virus they are unaware of, or their Windows is out of date for a fix that could have already been resolved by Microsoft.

Update your Windows people, it really isn't that scary.
