use regular 22.10 with 22.10 pci bus, since navi gpu has already dx9/dx10/dx11 optimization from amd. After installing the driver then reboot, always watch this:

To make sure they running correctly when gpu is loaded.

 

is it possible to make the video playback AND gaming smooth at the same time if the contend is HD-ready/720p or above? It's like for for high res video decoding the graphics engine queue get stalled between game and video play. I know this issue is present on AMD drivers since ever?

 

Its show supported 16x4 but use 16x3 but I think because my motherboard only support PCi 3

On new driver (V5-UWP-PolarisVegaNavi-WHQL-Insight-NimeZSlim-Adrenalin-22.5.1-DCH) for Polaris/Navi/Vega doesn't work installation of UI for 22.10 (you type 3, enter and it goes back to same menu).
Tweaks for DirectX9/10/11 causes crashes for GTAV, ruins fonts on Rockstar Launcher and screenshots are corrupted (reason why no screens of R* Launcher and GTAV crashes).

I still hope we will see RSR for Polaris/Navi/Vega GPUs.

• Run 'NzSetupCLI.exe'
• Type 1 and hit enter
• Then decide if you want Windows Update or don't (for me I can keep them enabled)
• Click on 'Got it' when you are shown prompt for WHQL.
• Select PCI BUS 21.40 version
• Then Snappy Driver Installer window will popup, click on 'Select all' and hit 'Install' (You can unsellect 'Create a restore point')
• Then select 'Single' (if you don't use iGPU)
  
• Select 'Single' once again
  
• Select 'MF CODEC WITH K-LITE HW+'
• Then you will be shown 'WHQL Checker' prompt, hit 'Next' then 'Got it', now will DXDIAG pop up check 'Display 1' (and Display 2, 3 etc. if you use multiple monitors) for 'WHQL: YES', close
  
• Hit Yes
  
• Type 2 and hit enter
  
• Type 1 and enter (if you wanna Re-Live type 2 and enter, if you wanna VR hit 3 and enter)

Done

 

you can go for 22.5.1 with old kernel, if you want better compatibility without losing features.

Now I'm using 22.5.1 with 21.11.3 kernel and 21.10 pci bus for 3400G, so far I can say this driver is pretty good for compatibility & stability

From my personal testing, 21.40.2 gave me best performance overall, but every pcibus works fine.

Hey y'all, hope you'll bare with me for a quick basic question that my slightly tired self couldnt find an answer for. I found and downloaded these drivers to improve my R9 390 back in November and they've been doing wonders ever since. I've been so lazy and used to official updates being automatic though that I haven't updated since. I figured I should probably update to the latest ones, but I want to make sure I do this right. I assume I should use DDU to uninstall my older nimez drivers before downloading and installing new ones all over from scratch?

I uninstalled the drivers in DDU, then installed ( 22. 5. 1 V5 ) Adrenalin Polaris/Vega/Navi Relive DCH (Mantle Emu) and noticed that the overlay does not show fps (0) and disappeared parameter "CPU temperature"

Try 22.10 first. If face any issue try 21.40.

 

whats the current recommended setup for a 3500U/vega 8 ?

am currently running the 22.5.1 with the latest pci bus, while it works fine (performance wise) ive noticed that ever since upgrading from 22.4.1 ive been having issues with stuttering that are caused if i let the screen shut down after i let the pc idle while in a game requiring a reboot to fix

 

That's was amd bug thingy on 22.5.1. Try install manually ryzenmastersdk if your processor is ryzen
