hi, i am using Vega 8 iGPU and trying your custom 22.10 driver with Navi optimization, is it normal for Youtube Video to be blurry when they're upscaled from lower quality?.. for reference i have GPU Acceleration enabled and this behaviour is observed both in Chrome and Firefox.. is there any way to bring back the much more blocky sharper upscaling?

ANGLE on Firefox seems only have support for OpenGL and D3D11 but i've found out that in Firefox you can't turn off the blurry scaling by disabling it through `gfx.webrender.dcomp-video-vp-scaling-win` flag.
unfortunately its seems Chrome doesn't have such flag but changing the ANGLE backend does FIX it!.. thanks~, its seems only affecting GPU Accelerated WebRender as of now?..
could be a issue caused by the Optimization... the problem with the blurry image is that its similiar to BILINEAR rather than Good Bicubic..
i rather have Nearest Interpolation at that point since i like sharper image.

looks like navi optimization may have played role for that trouble

I've tried to install all versions of the latest driver, in various ways, but the overclock and global settings are disabled. None worked properly.

Bluestack 5 with OpenGL seems doesnt like 22.10 drivers?.. it crash, tried with DirectX Mode and its running somewhat fine..

Edit: lowering the queue size to default 3 seems fix it, quite odd.. others apps/games are fine with higher queue.. prob just Bluestack things.. or maybe it was because i switched graphic workload mode to Compute instead of Graphics.. no idea

Ok, I get mixed results with latest Insight drivers.

May Preview were not stable (crash in BF1, crash in Superposition etc) for my 3 years 24/7 settings, so after ddu I installed 22.5.1/Amernime (Vega "edition"+22.10 as recommended+SAM enabled).

No more crashes (though I haven't tested them extensively), but in Firestrike I lost about 2000 points (from 25+k to 23k graphics score). Timespy/Superposition/SotTR bench and everything else seem normal/ok.

    Just sharing my findings.

    Similar problem with benchmark.
But i got huge performance gains on my rx 550 + athlon x4 fm2 with Navi DXKRNL on game which struggling on 22.4.1, such as:

    dx9 games:
    • csgo went up from 56-75 avg to 85-91 avg, depending on map sometimes 22.10 i got more 100 avg than in 22.4.1 which quite strange, this is athlon x4 fm2 which having poor IPC
    • gta iv got buttery smooth 50-60 avg on native dx9, before that i use dxvk to get that kind of performance
    dx11 games:
    • the most noticeable performance uplift are the amazing spiderman 2 which run poorly on athlon x4 fm2, due to having poor IPC in 22.4.1 so i capped in 45fps. Now in 22.10 i got buttery smoth 50-60 avg with less hiccups or stuttering
    opengl:
    • mostly minecraft player avoid radeon gpu, but yes this is the first time on 22.10 i got buttery smooth with shader enabled at 56-65 avg. 22.4.1 with shader, it hiccups at 24-57 avg

    BUG:
buttery smooth in vulkan instead dx11? idk. The only bug i found is NFSMW 2013 artefact bug when using Native DX11, So i use dxvk on that NFSMW 2013 to fix that graphical glitch. It's reversal from 22.4.1 when using dxvk, it has lot stutters for NFSMW 2013
I use DirectX in some android emulator such as Memu and Gameloop, because it fits performance and compatibility

terascale doesn't follow amd monthly relese, but enterprise release such as Q1, Q2, Q3, and Q4. It doesn't offer new features, only compatibility updates

some games require OpenGL to be properly rendered which is why i prefer OpenGL than DirectX... unfortunately the back end for most emulator (vbox) doesnt support any modern API as far as i know.. because when the emulator are running DirectX.. apparently its translate the GLES to D3D using ANGLE?, most likely some features aren't supported through that... the benefit using 22.10 is too good tbh than worrying about queue sizes.. at least for me.

It depends. Memu and Gameloop are DirectX Optimized than OpenGL, maybe they programmed properly? LDPlayer and Bluestacks so far fine with OpenGL
