Dldsr isn't available in control panel for legion 5 pro when on dgpu mode. Its supposed to work.

 

Not sure if this is a Geforce Experience (GE) or a driver issue but while recording dldsr/dsr 4k footage (from 1440 native res) with 512.15, videos and screenshots taken with geforce experience always output at 1440p. While steam screenshots/obs saved the correct 4k dsr resolution. Forcing the recording resolution to 4k in GE also doesn't work.

Downgrading the driver to 511.79 and the dl/dsr videos and screenshots via GE is working as intended. (4k videos, and 4k screenshot resolution)

Both driver have the same Geforce Experience version btw. (3.25.0.84)

Intel Core I7-8700K
ASUS Dual RTX 3060 Ti V2 Mini OC
LG 27GL850
Windows 11 Pro build 22000.556

 

the captured image is the nvidia framebuffer which by at this point is at 1440p after downscaling to the output resolution

 

So that's the intended behavior? Not the previous one where we get a 4k video from recording 4k dsr with GE?

Do u play warzone? Are these drivers good for warzone on rtx 2060?

 

What causes Nvidia Freestyle to randomly stop working on a supported game? I use it regularly in Insurgency Sandstorm and had zero issues until last December. But for some reason It's working again in February. There's been multiple updates to both the game and Nvidia drivers. Since I didn't pay attention I'm not sure which was the culprit.

But today I updated Nvidia driver and Freestyle is no longer supported, again (other games work fine tho). I literally played the game yesterday with Freestyle filters on, and the game has not been updated recently so i think it's the driver update this time. Anyone else having this annoying issue?

 

Saying everything works as supposed to be probably isnt useful feedback. But everything is working for me as its supposed to.

Call of Duty: Warzone is smooth as butter with these on my 2060.

 

NVIDIA website still shows old driver ( 511.79 ) not this 512.15

EDIT: That was because I selected Windows 11 as OS, selected Win10 64-bit and now shows the newest driver

 

I don't think its a broad description at all, its literally the same sentence.


They say the same thing each time a game ready driver comes out with DLSS supported games.

 

Driver crash in Forza Horizon 5. Had the game crash when trying to restore default livery on the Dodge Viper ACR 2016, it was repeatable. So I googled and apparently it's a known issue of few drivers ago related to Ray Tracing. Was it supposed to be fixed since it's not on the open issues list? Disabled RT and livery was successfully removed.

 

The wording can be misconstrued, but yea they put it on every gameready driver release notes involving a game that has DLSS (gotta love marketing!).

"NVIDIA DLSS for up to a 2x performance gain." = UP TO a 2x performance gain in X game vs the same game without DLSS. This can mean a .5% increase or a 200% increase; it's wide open as far as statements go.

Also it's weird for Cyberpunk to not give any boost with DLSS. DLSS seems to boost every game I have used it in, although the image quality varies (some games look worse, some look suprisingly better with DLSS, like Death Stranding). The biggest boost obviously comes from using "Performance" DLSS as opposed to "Balanced" or "Quality".
