I thought you can just install Windows on it, so then you could just install Yuzu and emulate away to your hearts content.
That new pricing is ridiculous considering how little you get for it. n64 games aren't worth that. I miss the old days when companies didn't gouge you for 20 year old games. Remember the original Animal Crossing on gamecube? It actually had nes games you could collect and play.......for free!
You're absolutely right, good points. I always forget and hate the need to plug a laptop in to get decent gaming performance. This not needing that alone is a big win.
Epic won’t update Fortnite to run on the Steam Deck Tim Sweeney says Linux is ‘a terrifically hard audience to serve’ lol..... *edit* *editit* Valve released the CAD files for the steam deck - https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/1675180/view/3106923225208810470
The deck is going to be massive, i can't wait to get one, this will be how i play my steam library from now on as i am done with pc desktop gaming.
I would've thought the AMD Adrenaline drivers would support this, however, it doesn't seem like anyone has tried it yet. Only The Phawx seems to have installed windows on his, but, he says its missing gpu driver.
I just ordered one as i am selling my gtx1080 as i am done with desktop gaming at this point as i am not playing the silly gpu price game, so this deck is going to do me nicely with my 900 plus steam account games, hope Gabe brings it round. Lol
I assume you can do that, but it will be mostly just in hand held, i am very casual gamers now so this is perfect.
The Steam Deck is what I wish for Christmas. Assuming that we will have one in peace al over the world.
