Nvidia is currently going through a security audit with internal and external specialists, disruptions have occurred that interfere with intra-team communications.

I don't search Nvidia support here, and above all I don't need it. My post is just a topic of discussion about the fact that after an attack by looser hackers, Nvidia has no longer released either drivers or hotfixes that in essence would already be ready.

I have the utmost respect for @ManuelG, and I know that the situation does not depend on him.

In fact this forum is so aware of marketing only that it is the first to publish the drivers as soon as they come out and generate dozens of pages on it

    That isn't even G-Sync specific.

I have a non G-Sync monitor (Eizo CX240) and also have this activity.

Normal procedure after a serious event such as a hacker attack.

The attack took place on February 23rd, 9 days have passed, the technical team of drivers has not had time to release a hotfix based on its latest GRD that is safely downloadable from the Nvidia site?

No data loss therefore for existing drivers

Any variable refresh display will trigger the behavior if enabled on the display.

If the DWM thing bothers you that much, just roll back to 497.x drivers. I did. And my computer didn't explode, and games still run fine.

Every driver that comes out, has Fixed Issues AND Still Open Issues. You will never get a driver that says 'WE FIXED EVERYTHING, THIS IS THE LAST DRIVER'. Also, not every game gets a gameready driver.

If you are this worried about a driver, maybe take a step back and think about life.

what exactly do think complain about issue here is gona do. Nvidia has better thing to do currently then worry about "you" want or think should be happen.

Like was said earlier stop with the entitlement

Apparently that makes little or no difference to anything you do on your machine, relax Alberto

This is why I was getting DWM.exe crashes with 511.79 drivers in very demanding titles and when running them in 4K/ultra settings, when some VR games actually took around 28GB of my 32GB system RAM (crazy I know) and then it would crash with event viewer pointing to DWM.exe (also resolution would change to 640x480 lol), after coming back to older drivers - no such issues.

No dude, need a fix on the current version of GRD, no way. There is a list of the problems verified by Nvidia itself on open issue on GRD release notes.

My CX240 doesn't have any gaming features, it's a professional photo editing monitor from 2013. It doesn't have Freesync or G-Sync.

It is connected with DisplayPort however, maybe that's triggering it.

I went all the way back to 472.84 about two weeks ago, best move i made. Butter smooth experience compared to any driver after that.

Ofcourse that just my experience on my particular setup.

I think you don't have the continuous spam issue, just the normal access to DWM

did you see any entries on procmon with the specified filters?

You might have an issue with the EDID on your monitor. This is a known issue (Nvidia started following proper specification on EDID and some monitors do not pass correct info, so the driver ends up default to safemode resolution (i.e. 640x480). There was a post about this, and how to submit your info to Nvidia so they can add support for your monitor, might be worth doing?
