No Game Ready Driver this time and much more

I understand and apologize for the recent hack that Nvidia suffered. But in the last 4 days no support for Nvidia GeForce users via the official forum and above all the non-release of the new Game Ready Driver for Shadow Warrior 3, Elex 2 and the bug fixes of the current version of the drivers.

I remember that we are those users who have bought maybe at high cost geforce GPUs and the new Game Ready is done but maybe for the hack attack Nvidia don't release them.

It would be correct to warn end users at least with a small statement because in essence we are not at fault

Please @ManuelG give us some information about the future of Game Ready

 

i don't know how much we're missing by not having elex2 and sw3 drivers,but it seems amd released theirs on the 24th and still run worse than nvidia w/o gr drivers
maybe gameready drivers are not necessary in the first place

i don´t understand what relation about hacked informations and no release more drivers, if have any security breach we still have one with old drivers installed too, if technology is discovered now, who cares? don´t release driver can´t will change that

 

That was what I wanted to say! why not release new drivers or hotfixes because they have suffered a hacker attack?
On 511.79 drivers release there are several issues, some of which have already been resolved. I have a DM on Twitter that can confirm this

From what I remember Manuel in a response about an issue did hint at a new GRD coming out late Feb, that had a fix for it. This was around the time that hack happened.

Guessing they have an investigation ongoing as far as the security implications this has caused on the driver code and software, and as long as it isn't finished, we may not be seeing any new sets.

 

If they have had a hack that had the time to drain a TB of data, they may be checking their code to make sure things are not unwantedly modified.

 

It's not like they don't have backups....

 

All this is ridiculous, on the official Nvidia forum, @ManuelG are 7 days that don't give answers to the questions of the people who have got issues with latest GRD.
No updates about a hotfix or a new driver version.

The backup drivers are on the official Nvidia website, download section. So there is no reason to no release a hotfix or even a new driver.

The hacker attack was on February 23, now we're on March 5.

Also no communication of apologies about the disservice

I have already done clean installation with DDU but without solution.

I have already communicated with Manuel and he told me that it has already been solved with the next GRD. But if they don't release it...

This is an extremely self centred way of looking at things. This is not Nvidia support and we should be privileged to have Manuel, taking time out from his busy schedule for the wider Guru3d community.

If you know there has been a ransom attack at Nvidia then you should give them some leeway and have some patience.
