Good point but logic tells you to wait for a price drop or sale problem sorted.

    SS is more 1080p/1440p
    SX is more 1800p/4k
    PS5 is more 1600p/4k

For £250 for the SS and £500 for the other two its a steal. They just "get you" with the subscriptions, online pay to play, £70/$70 games and microtransactions. And now "Games as a service".

Try running Cyberpunk on a £500 PC at 1600p-4K with RT shadows enabled.

30fps on a controller with proper frame pacing is fine. But it comes down to personal preference and the type of game.

not going to happen. Valve dont have enough first party games and the ones they do have are either f2p or so cheap that a subscription model would actually be a worse deal.

Unless they made deals with other developers/publishers its never going to happen.

but i read China makes up for the majority of PC gaming,
Is PC gaming popular in China?
Despite the decline, PC gaming accounts for more than 32% of game revenue and nearly 45% of gamers, and is projected to return to growth in 2022. There were 325.4 million PC gamers in mainland China as of the end of 2020, up 1.4% YoY. ... Most PC gamers are also mobile gamers.

if you ask me, i think PlayStation will die first. between the console war.

China has 1.3 Billion people. Even if you divide the population by 4 - 25% elderly, 25% adult male and females, and 25% kids to adults gamers ( 3-25), that is about ~ 300M + market for gaming which is ~ the same population size as the USA ~ 330M total!

So yeh, huge market running on old PCs, like me, up to Intel ADL + Ryzen 5s.

I bet mobile is at least 3x that potential amount.

Also, PC is double, triple use for WORK, SCHOOL and Gaming.

Like I asked many times = If the PS5 or XB can be used as generic Linux PC with KB/M, they would sell even better because of the basic system costs.
