So it's like FSR if the game had no FSR support. With the downside that it's gonna mess with the UI text.

 

I had that fear with the sharpening filter, and now it's on by default. We have to wait and see. Maybe UI isn't as hard to upscale as textures, but I'm just guessing here.

 

CAS/RIS is very gentle on HUD elements. EASU scaling of FSR however tends to round edges a lot, so it might be closer to SMAA/MLAA inject when it comes to how HUD elements are affected.

I am having issues after installing these drivers on a fresh installed Windows 11. I revert back to 21.10.2 and have no issues at all.

Corruption either in drivers installer or Windows system itself probably due to system instability.

Try and re-download the installer from AMD site incase corrupted.
Try disabling any BIOS mods/CPU/GPU over/underclocks before installing drivers perhaps.
Use DDU to install and don't dirty install over top of the previous drivers unless you factory reset during install. I'd just use DDU to be sure in this case.

 

Its a fresh Windows 11 install and have no overclocking of any sorts.
I did try DDU as well and its still the same after few hours the explorer starts freaking out and i have to restart PC to fix it.
Reverted back to 21.10.2 and no issues at all so probably will report it to AMD i guess.

 

Same component versions then with a newer date (December 29th for this beta version.) and the build version update (21.40.23.01 up from 21.40.11.03) comparing against the info on the first page here.

 

I'm having a weird issue/glitch of when the computer comes out of sleep, it's like explorer.exe has crashed but not fully. I can barely do anything on the computer until I fully restart. Once I do that, AMD tells me that my graphics driver is outdated and I have to reinstall it. Wtf?

 

where is the new Drive ?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nvidia already have two newest driver wtf ???????????

 

Its support for 3080 12gb driver.

 

It will probably realese before the 6500XT launch. So in a week or so.

 

God of war releases on 14th so there be a game ready drivers in few days.

 

Monster Hunter Rise is tomorrow so I kind of expect one today.

 

I had AMD hold off release until March 2022.

 

First driver of 2022 finally released.

 

Yes I have the same issue as well. Usually happens when I leave my PC left idle for couple of hours and the taskbar just freezes.

Fixed Issues

• Connecting multiple monitors with high display bandwidths and differences in vertical intervals to a system may lead to high idle memory clock values being experienced by some users.
• After upgrading to the latest Radeon™ Software, the Power Tuning component of a saved tuning profile may not load correctly when a user imports a previously saved tuning profile.
• When some users zoom-in during Halo Infinite™ gameplay, they may experience visual corruption on some AMD Graphics Products such as Radeon® RX 5600 XT Graphics.

Known Issues

• Enhanced Sync may cause a black screen to occur when enabled on some games and system configurations. Any users who may be experiencing issues with Enhanced Sync enabled should disable it as a temporary workaround.
• Radeon performance metrics and logging features may intermittently report extremely high and incorrect memory clock values.

I've tried locking my computer to see if that does anything. I came back last night and the OS was usable except when I opened up Firefox, the main portion of the browser was like 1/10th the size as normal.

 

seing reports that RDNA1 is experiencing multimonitor instability in this.
