I am looking to get a console for my wife and I am we have not had one in ages. We want to be able to play from our bed with wireless controls, if these work well enough. We want to be able to play games that would allow us to be on the same team and work co-op through missions. Something like the Ghost Recon missions years ago on the pc, Need opinions on what console to get and what games, if any we could take advantage of. Thanks for anybody's input, we are out of the loop on this topic.
We prefer games that we can co-op...like single player shooters that can be tactical. Budget...to some extent, tv can do 4k not sure about VRR, 120Hz.
Wireless contolers are way better then they are on PC so there should be lag noticed, just make sure gamemode is enabled on the tv, lots battle royal type games out there you's might like.
250 quid Series S console, Borderlands 1,2 and 3, Gears of war 1,2,3,4,5.....there are 8 games with the greatest coop spit screen couch gsming you can get....and to boot cheap to get almost all even digitally. More great coop games of the top of my head. RE5 Left for dead 1,2. Diablo III Cuphead. Any of the lego games.
Just get an Xbox Series X. 4K resolution, VRR, 120 hz support. And then get Gamepass, and you get a ton of free games per month. Also several co-op games. Here is the full list: https://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-game-pass/games
Thanks for all of the info gentlemen. Are all of the co-op games split screen ? Are all of the co-op games split screen ?
Honestly I love my Series S. It is a $300 USD console, and it's great. My one complaint about it is it only comes in 500gb, which AAA games you will fill up quickly with that. Sure you can get the 1tb expansion card but at that rate you might as well should just get the Series X(Now mind you instead you have a console with 1.5tb of storage though). Gamepass is also a steal too. For the cost of 3 AAA new games a year, you get a catalog of brand new games from Microsoft(just this year they've released 5 at least AAA games), plus an ever growing library of games and EA Play and Xbox Live Gold. Now Sony is going to introduce their own version of Gamepass, but we do not know what that will consist of entirely yet.
It gets difficult towards the end but overall it's loads of fun in coop. Tons of stickers to collect.
Great we are nearly finished it takes two, don't no how many times I've told her to fix her camera. Hopefully its not to hard or it might be time for a divorce, still got borderlands 3 to start as well.
I think I am going to go with X-Box S We probably won't be playing over a couple of games at a time any way so the small HD should not be a big issue. Thanks for everybody's input
