Looks like my next BF style game will come from Embark Studios next year!!! And the sad thing is EA management will blame everyone and everything except themselves. First time I hear about this, great news. Realistically though, it might be a while till we get game from them, but there's hope at least for a spiritual successor.
Ex DICE employees signed non-compete agreement as far as i know? Wonder what kind of consequences it could have. Embark Studios is using Unreal Engine, looks like they're working on a large multiplayer experience.
well, ea just banned me for cheating even though ive never cheated. not sure what thats about, ive appealed but am told it could take 30 days lmao. well i guess they really don't want anyone to play this garbage.
I remember when they banned several people in BF1, because they were too good and were flagged by their anti cheat. Do you have a big k/d in BF 2042?
not really, im pretty average, maybe 1:1 most of the time. so unless using prox censors + ammo crate is cheating. dunno, im at a loss here.
What kind of software do you use to monitor your video card? if at all? What do you have running in the background while playing the game that is not a default windows service?
i only run a few programs, msi afterburner at times, evga precision. ai suite 3, amrory crate, i wonder if f.lux did it, that changes the color tones though the day but i run tis stuff all the time, how did it not catch it sooner? the only thing ive done recently is update drivers and run the new msi afterburner burner + rtss
Using 3rd party tools to alter colors will deffo get you flagged. I doubt they are gonna reverse your ban.
well i used f.lux during tom clancy's the division 2. so unless its a new program thats banned i dunno.
DICE is essentially already dead. Probably about 80% or more of crew that worked on more than 3 Battlefield games has left a solid while ago, some of them "graduated" to being EA execs like Bach, rest just dissolved around - programmers jumped over to engine teams like UE4, others spread around studios and that's that. Current DICE is mostly fresh talent that not only doesn't have strong track record but also doesn't exactly know Frostbite.
Is division 2 bf2042 ? No, so not relevant. Ea takes a very hard stance on it, and has ever since bf3, where people got banned for the very same thing... so unless you are completely new to the battlefield franchise, then it's a rather stupid move.
