I can't stand these newer skins. They are incredibly impractical and confusing.

I'm still sticking with the Default MSI Afterburner v3 skin.

It has its perks, yes. But that's why there is choice.

Its an OK skin, personally I use Eren design V2.

More compact and the best layout I've used.

    Thank you Unwinder.

I still use the old default or dragon design. Even tho some of the skins looks nice nothing beats the original.

Chris created those "incredibly impractical and confusing skins" for you, he is exacrtly the same Guru3D community member as you are. You have all chances to do something useful too, show everyone how to create proper skins yourself and share results of your work with community. But something is telling me that it won't happen.

    Thanks Unwinder!

Now, me and many others will wonder why there are 2 different links at the bottom of the download page! And which one is the sexy one ???

    edit: very interesting this part
    "
    • MSI Afterburner 4.6.3 beta 5 will additionally contain one minor functionality upgrade for AMD 6800/6900 users: now it internally switches "Tuning control" to "Manual" mode automatically, so it is not necessary to do it yourself in Adrenalin control panel. And of course, it will contain updated RTSS 7.3.0 Beta 10 bundled with it."

Nice Skins Nvidia memory overclock from 890 Mhz to 910 Mhz rock solid on All games on Windows 11 that's even nicer for a GTX1660 Super OC and the latest Nvidia driver

Thanks and keep up the good work.

It is not a question for me, I do not edit download pages. Also, "very interesting part" is a quote from the previous 4.6.3 release notes.

I dig the Win 11 theme.
Reminds of the simplistic afterburner from back in 2008 era.

MSI Afterburner is reporting wrong CPU Clock . On my Ryzen 5600x it's reporting 4600 MHZ but HWinfo is reporting it corectly by averaging all the cores speed to about 4200 MHZ. It would be impossible for this CPU to reach an average of 4600 MHZ on all 6 cores because i have the stock cooler and all settings are on default so no PBO.

That's not the case. You have wrong understanding. Any clock averaging approach is just plain wrong approach, AB won't be doing that and always report max core clock and I'm not going to debate about it. If you beleive that it is "wrong" - just switch to readings imported from HwInfo.

So it's just reporting the max boost clock of some core ? That does not seem right .This would make me think that all cores are running at 4600 when in fact only some do.
I would like to understand why the averaging approach is wrong even if it seems to be the right one if Unwinder or some other knowledgeable guru would take the time to explain it.
I mean i'm sure Unwinder has his reasons i just want to understand them because this has been bugging me for some time lol.
PS: Also i am refering to the listing of Core Clocks in Hwinfo and not the Average Effective Clock just to clarify.

And that is the beauty of MSI Afterburner. You can use any skin you want.

I see a very conservative comment here and will take this as constructive criticism. The only problem is, you haven't personally given me any ideas or tips on skin design and since I currently do not have my crystal ball, I am unable to read your mind. I have been a member of this community for several years now and you always have the ability to share your thoughts and opinions with me personally. If you were to send me a PM here, I would get an email notification and in return I would reply to your message. The only people that gives me ideas on new skins is Hilbert, Unwinder, and MSI. I have never received a message from any other members here with ideas that they would like to go into a new skin. To be honest, most of the people sharing screenshots of Afterburner in other communities are using one of my skins and most of them don't find them impractical or confusing. Maybe it's just you. Who knows. So with that all being said, feel free to message me with tips or ideas and I will be more than happy to make the skin more practical and less confusing for you. Cheers!

Your CPU is capable to reach 4600 Mhz Max. on the cores. you can check the Ryzen 5600 max specs .
