I recently bought a Samsung 980 Pro, and used Samsung's Data Migration Tool to migrate my OS Drive from my old Intel 660p SSD (both are 2TB models). The migration was successful, but the Intel drive still has all the old files on it. I assume there is no harm in formatting the 660p now that everything is on the 980 Pro (I plan on using the old drive as a secondary game/storage drive)? I can't see why this would introduce any issues, but figured I'd ask the question before wiping the drive (which is always a bit scary).

Wipe away! (Assuming you are booting to the new drive)
