It seems it have support for both fsr and dlss. Idk what gpu they used in the video but its strange it cant run a farming simulator natively at 60fps.

    Probably a RTX 2060.
This game's recommended GPUs are a GeForce GTX 1060 (6GB) or Radeon RX 570 (8GB)
So it's not particularly heavy, unless we turn on RTX.

BTW, the game also supports DLAA.

The game could use RT lighting. Badly.

Do note that BF2042 don't support DLSS in any other version but that provided by t'Game.
It's greyed out when updated to new 2.3.4....

but IMhO it is working fine, just no config, set to Q and overwrite ;)

Yeah online games will scan every file at launch so they won't accept any other DLSS DLL other than the one that the game shipped with.
Only game I know so far is okay with replacement DLL is Warzone, but you have to replace it every time you open Battle.net

It really depends on the game, Fortnite is fine with replacing that particular DLL.
Well, stupid BFV didn't even allow you to permanently set CPU prerender value via console/config. Good thing I don't even bother with their most recent abomination.

AMD FSR plugin for Unreal Engine is now available

AMD boosts efforts to popularize FSR technology through Unreal Engine.

Just as promised, AMD has released an FSR plugin for Unreal Engine 4. Along with the plugin AMD provides a quick overview with recommended settings for each of the FSR modes. The power of the upscaling effect can be modified using the ScreenPercentage option. Here’s how AMD describes each mode:

    • Ultra Quality : r.ScreenPercentage 77
Produces an image with quality virtually indistinguishable from native rendering. It should be selected when the highest quality is desired.
    • Quality : r.ScreenPercentage 67
Produces a super resolution image with quality representative of native rendering, with a sizeable performance gain.
    • Balanced : r.ScreenPercentage 59
Produces a super resolution image approximating native rendering quality, with a major performance gain compared to native.
    • Performance : r.ScreenPercentage 50
Visibly impacts image quality and should only be selected in situations where needing additional performance is critical.
Furthermore, AMD mentions that the FSR plugin already features a Contrast Adaptive Sharpening pass, which means that developers must ensure that existing CAS integrations are disabled beforehand.

It is possible to make the AMD FSR UE4 plugin work with TAAU (Temporal Anti-Aliasing with Upsampling) through a Hybrid Upscaling mode.
FSR might then act as a secondary upscaler, otherwise, TAAU upscaling method will take priority.

AMD FSR now works with Unreal Engine 4.271.1. The company is yet to release a version compatible with Unreal Engine 5.
NVIDIA already provides DLSS plugins for UE4 and UE5 respectively.

NVIDIA DLSS now officially available for Valve’s Proton 6.3-8 on Linux

After experimental support with Proton 6.3-7, Valve is making NVIDIA Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) officially available with Proton 6.3-8.
Linux gamers should be delighted to know that Valve’s Proton is now officially supporting DLSS. Proton is a Windows compatibility layer for Linux, based on the popular DirectX translation runtime called Wine.

NVIDIA DLSS for DX11 & DX12 Games Now Available on Linux via Proton

As promised last month, following the initial release of NVIDIA DLSS on Linux via Valve's Proton with compatibility for Vulkan games like DOOM Eternal, Wolfenstein Youngblood,
and No Man's Sky, the new version of Proton (6.3.8) released yesterday added NVIDIA DLSS support for DirectX 11 and DirectX 12 games.

Needless to say, that's by far the largest group of games compatible with NVIDIA's Deep Learning Super Sampling technology out of the over 130 games and apps that support it.
For example, out of the most recent DLSS additions,
Deathloop, Back 4 Blood, Battlefield 2042, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition, Alan Wake Remastered, F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch, Bright Memory Infinite, Jurassic World Evolution 2, Chivalry II,
The Elder Scrolls Online, Swords of Legends Online, Hot Wheels Unleashed, and Assetto Corsa Competizione are all DX11 and/or DX12 titles.

Only Crysis Remastered Trilogy, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and Baldur's Gate III support Vulkan.

^^ DLSS is clear winner for me in any scenario.
Better Image, no Aliasing + FPS Boost -> everything what we need :p

ICARUS: DLSS vs. FSR Comparison Review

ICARUS is a session-based PvE survival game for up to eight co-op players or solo. This game uses Unreal Engine 4 and supports NVIDIA's Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS), AMD's FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR), and ray tracing (RTX Global Illumination).
In order to run this game at maximum graphics settings and reasonable framerates at native resolution, quite a powerful GPU is required, which is why upscaling solutions are so important.
But depending on the game, there are subtle differences in the implementation of NVIDIA's Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) and AMD's FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR), so we are keen to have a look at both in this game.
