reading that wrong lol. I will test them out on my w5500 and see how performance is against the rest of the drivers, including the best 20.Q3 enterprise ones.
    thanks.

Yup, installed fine. I used DDU in safe mode to remove previous 21.11.2 drivers. Will test some games and benchmarks later.

For workstation cards, tested on my wx 7100 and w5500, video acceleration motion2 is not working/disable just like with the rest of the newer drivers, performance is awful in certain games. a bit better fps in Gear tactics , extremely low performance in mafia 2 and 3, back to 20.q3.

So it does work on desktop GPU's too, didn't see the Workstation tag initially and then I thought it was mostly for the Pro GPU lineup.

Interesting, was mostly just going to yoink the settings software if it was the same between this and the slightly earlier preview driver for Halo but testing the main driver itself could also work then. :)

  8. Installs fine for a RX 580 and also on LTSC 2021

How's the performance for you, video play back, etc?
The drivers runs really bad for me. I know this is an old game, but in Mafia 2 benchmark at max no physx, I get 92fps, with the enterprise 21.q3 I get 106fps. That's just one of the games. It does have some new control panel features for enterprise such as a new framerate control settings. But overall the driver is bad for gaming at least on my end.

It works very well with my 6800XT. No problems with games, DXVA video playback, desktop 2D, etc.

I have tested new Vulkan modules - no problem with Vulkan games (including the latest DOOM Eternal). I have tested some old DX9 - DX11 games - no problems with the updated Direct3D module too.

"CPU tuning" settings are missing in this driver but I don't use it anyway.

Of course, I still have to use CRU as a workaround for the ancient IDLE memory clock bug (75Hz monitor). ;)

Interesting results. Guess different cards perform differently. I tried the driver twice already and got weird results in Mafia 2 only. I'm going to try a 3rd time and do a clean factory install. And do alot of testing in alot of games. be back later.

    I just noticed this:

    vpe.jpg

I have 2 screenshots from PotPlayer. I played the same video file on 2 separate OS on the same computer. Windows version is the same, video driver is the same, player settings are the same. The difference is that one Windows is installed with formatting (the one without VPE) and the other one has been updated a few times to the last build.

What is this VPE and why do I have it only on one of the 2 identical systems? I see this VPE for the first time with AMD video card.
    Any ideas?

Just press TAB during the playback. I use the internal DXVA video codec of PotPlayer.

Till now I had seen this VPE just on screenshots with NVidia/Intel video cards.

Any chance on improvements in dx11 area? :)

  18. I didn't do any benchmarks, but overall performance seems fine and as-expected with everything.

Largely the only thing I really scrutinize when it comes to performance between drivers is how Oculus Link works, but even that seems fine with these drivers.

There's some new drivers, updated ones. Using them now, tested them, works just fine, similar to the 21.q3. I did fix the idle problem with the control panel. As for performance, everything is great.
