Well each to their own... I'd rather see something new and original instead, because all I can see behind a remaster is marketing department and easy money.

 

But some games need remasterers, that's the whole point for them. And there has been of games that are being release that are new and original. The only thing that is bothering me with gaming atm is how alot of f2p games get shut down without the devs making their games offline playable, when they can easily do that. That's why i stop spending money on f2p games, i mean what's the point anymore.

Triad wars, Global Agenda, Defiance (This game was really necessary to make playable offline ), Crimecraft, TOME: Immortal Arena , Nightbanes ( which was the greatest card game IMO ) , etc. Just my views though.

Try looking at smaller, indie studios with AA productions. They make quite a lot of single player offline games. These indie studios are the new driving force if that's the kind of gaming you are looking for. And it's always better to spend some money on smaller games from indie studios. They will appreciate it much more and in the future they could make something really unique.

btw. I've never been fan of any MMO and honestly I've never even played one properly.

 

Fact is, you can’t please everybody, these very forums are evidence of that.

No matter what developers do with their remasters/remakes or even new games, there will always be people here complaining that they either didn’t respect the original vision or that they respected it too much or didn’t put enough effort in.

The amount of negative nancys round here is getting unbearable honestly.

 

honestly I saw the trailers and was expecting to to look better, it look like low poly count remasters and textures really are not the good either imo, and for price they asking I think they could done better. but hey my favorite and only GTA game after it went 3d vice city is there. so long as soundtrack in intact and complete I will pick it up but not at the $70 price point, I will pick it up when I see it for 20$

as it stand there will be NO PS5 game i buy new not at that $70 price point. while consoles game price seemingly keep going up pc verison of the game still remain $59 for most part

Looks absolutely awful, hard pass from me, just glad I played the originals back in the day.

 

Nobody’s angry, and that comment isn’t even solely aimed at this game.

The negativity is rampant in a lot of threads across many subjects, usually fuelled by the same people.

 

You are just looking at bad games, and extrapolating to everything.
There are plenty of games where people are taking about good things.

 

On the plus side, since it's being ported to a modern engine modders will be able to give us a proper remaster. Unless Rockstar makes modding difficult, which wouldn't surprise me...

 

Probably just sue anyone who tries.. or send goons to their houses to intimidate anyone who tries.

Just a bummer it's only on their own launcher, so i will skip it. I stick to GOG, Epic and Steam as they're the 3 major players.

Is Lazlo's talk radio going to be a part of the remaster? That was half the reason I enjoyed these. Actually, I'm only interested in GTA 3, too bad they won't let you purchase these individually.

 

£55 is taking the piss, hard pass.
That Halo MCC is £30 with 6 games in it (2 of which included remasters)

 

Couldn't agree more, at £35 I would have at least considered buying this, at £25 I would have probably pulled the trigger but 55 for something that looks a bit low effort... yeah no thanks. Had they updated the visuals to GTA5 levels it would be a different story. I'll be happy to wait for a sale, played these games plenty back in the day anyway and have moved on so I'd be paying for a quick nostalgia trip.

servers been down all day. so cant download the games. wtf ..

 

Heck I just want to download it, been waiting 10+ hours but Rockstar servers are down, so no go here, bit annoyed seeing you drop $90AUD on a game and the servers go out so you can't even download it.
