Ok i managed to download and install your clean version but i got a problem

I went in NVIDIA control panel and set color range to max but it doesnt work, even if i click apply and restart it still looks limited

Is it a known issue or i did something wrong?

    Thanks in advance

Are you referring to these settings?

If you are, then it's working fine for me (GTX)
Try re-downloading and re-installing it. If it still doesn't work then I'll re-do the cleaning package and re-upload

It seems that, Nvidia has gone the route of DCH drivers with the new drivers of 496.13. I am trying these none standard drivers right now, and can only guess if these are more of a pain, or just the new way we install NVIDIA drivers from here on out. Nvidia seems the only company, when it comes to thier drivers, that produce DCH drivers to "acompany" Microsoft's way. The main thing is the NCP is gone fro mthe DCH package, and will install automatically, I assume, from the MS Store. Altho that CP looks exactly like the old NCP. I recall that it would be way different than we know it to be, but, looks the same.

I'll test these drivers with FC6 tonight, and some other games, on windows 11.

AMD and intel have both been DCH for year(s) and the \NVCPL\ folder is where the control panel installs from in a DCH package instead of using a executable installer for it.

"\NVCPL\" as in OS drive directory? I know you are required to connect to MS servers to download DCH NVCP. It doesn't come with the installer itself, at least not the entire version of it.

If someone could make old NVCP standalone, it would be awesome!

Does anyone know which Windows registry entries change those settings?

windows system settings , search for Device Installation Settings , turn off automatic driver installation
DDU , restart , install , restart after setting your settings so they are ready to go , job done

The NVCPL is a folder within the driver package that contains the files for the DCH control panel. Once you reboot, it should trigger an automatic install of the control panel no need to connect to the Microsoft servers yourself.

You don't have to download anything from the store. When you install the driver the Nvidia Control Panel is installed via the appx file included in the NVCPL folder.

Hello. I have a question regarding cleaning the DCH package. What about these folders? One of them contains the DCH Control Panel, obviously will stay (NVCPL), what about the others? Do this folder doesn't require additional cleaning?

It is regarding the Display.Driver folder. The Standard package prior 496 branch didn't contain these folders here.
Specifically, I am talking about NvCamera and NVWMI.
Display.NvContainer I guess it is mandatory also.
    Can they be safely deleted?
