The latest Cyberpunk patch has done justice to the visuals. I was about to play with a few mods but imo there is no need for me to do that now. The game looks great.

My coworker just got his hands on a 6800xt to pair with his 5900X. The performance of his machine is absolutely insane. The games have a very clean look to them with awesome framerates. We even spent time unzipping extremely huge files. If ya blink it's done.

Ive ordered an ASUS AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT 16GB TUF GAMING OC with a GLACIER G6000 ASUS STRIX 6800/6900 DRGB GPU FULL WATER BLOCK, new PSU and new tubing/fittings to replace my 1080TiFE.
Looking forward to some RE, FC and DCS at 4k, i mean the 1080Ti puts in a legendary shift but im hoping to see some serious
    improvements.

Snagged a 6900 XT Toxic EE as someone whispered in my ear that it gets more frames than 3090 in COD at 1080p. I can confirm this to be the case.

Using a 9900KS@5.2 /w tweaked RAM, this 6900 XT core does 2875 in PR and 2855 in TS while memory sweet spot is 2160. In games 2730 min/2830 max is rock solid and passes TS and PR stress tests. Below I compare the 6900 XT to my 3080TI in TS, TS Extreme and PR.

    Time Spy
    3080TI: 20014 overall, 22006 graphics
    6900 XT: 22298 overall, 25222

    Time Spy Extreme
    3080TI: 9765 overall, 11163 graphics
    6900 XT: 10242 overall, 11836 graphics

    Port Royal
    3080TI: 14708
    6900 XT: 12627

Does anyone know how to lock the clock speed on these cards? My friend was testing CS:GO at below 1080P and he noted the card was downclocking to 500Mhz and there was a 2MS latency increase in click to screen latency. At 1080p the card respected the minimum clock value configured in Radeon and latency was normal.

download more power tool, use GPUz grab your cards bios from it. Load it in more power tool then disable all the power save features. Save then write to spt, go to regristry and disable ULPS or use afterburner and go to the settings and click disable ULPS

card will still downclock like normal in idle, but should no longer drop to 500mhz when not under high load games

Super simple answer is go to performance -> tuning and put in a minimum clock speed that is 200mhz lower than your maximum clock speed. For my 6800 XT I have min 2300 max 2500. No need to mess around with More Power Tool if you don't have to.

You sir are a god, thank you. While this solved our issue in CSGO I also noticed tangible benefits in other games as far as 0.1% and 1% lows. Modern Warfare for example I got a 30 FPS boost in 0.1% lows with this tweak which is a bigger boost than I got upgrading from 1080TI to 3080TI. Pretty insane!

I keep seeing RDNA1 owners coming back to nvidia after months of issues, are the 5700 cards really still having such problems?

I'm not aware of any big issues for 5700(XT) cards.

i'd imagine the users can't identify bad hardware worth a damn then.

Long time no post. im baaaack. proud new owner of a AsRock 6900xt Oc https://www.asrock.com/Graphics-Card/AMD/Radeon RX 6900 XT OC Formula 16GB/
the green doesnt exactly go with the red motif i have going, but then again, i am not watching the card at 4k am i? got a bad deal on Newegg , just not as bad as some of the other deals i saw, so i took a gamble.

had a 5700 xt ( 50th ) from day 1 , i had zero issues with that card. I do not know what all the complaints are, it was supposed to be a mid range card to gap fill until the "Big Navi " was released. it did its job just fine.

My Sapphire Nitro+ 5700XT has been pretty solid. No driver issues to speak of. Only issue I had was washed out HDR colors, which I discovered that Radeon Settings needed the video settings set to Custom in order to get proper colors.

Crazy how large modern coolers have become. I mean the waterblock isnt light by any standards but that cooler weighs a ton.
