I was wondering what the difference was between the clicky and linear? I would guess and say that linear is not clicky?

The Huntsman V2 has been out for a while I've had the full size keyboard for a month or two. It's a nice upgrade over my previous Black widow, but a lot of people on the Razer forums reporting issues with key's ghosting, I had the same issue initially but a recent update to Synapse seems to have solved it for me.

Is there any (professional) reason why there is no tactile version of these switches? With that it would be an instant purchase for me :c

The linear version is a straight press downward, no "clicky feel" and thus also, a lot less noticeable when typing. A lot of people like clicky switches, but not me, as an audiophile, I try and keep interferences to a minimum while playing on my system for better immersion.

100 million keystroke lifespan(195 years?) is pretty impressive too.

With the linear switches the keyboard can sense how far you've depressed the key. With the Huntsman V2 you can set two attenuation points, one at the top and another at the bottom, you can then set an action against those attenuation points. So for example you could bind a single key to select grenade and the same key could be used to throw grenade in one keystroke.

The linear switch is also supposed to allow controller like input for things like racing games where you can apply a more gradual input for steering/throttle response.

That would take some getting used to on a keyboard.
