Found some sweet spot OC Vs UV 925mV for 1905MHz ! (CPU bottleneck) But managed to get 19k with this profile. With 5950XT at 5GHz this GPU can beat 21K easy. -> https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/65970029? Spoiler
IMhO you've got higher FPS thus it needs more juice. In gaming i rarely see more than 220tW (averaging at 124tW in CP 2077). Try that OC/UV in CP2077 (Max settings, DLSS), it's very sesitive game. I play it at 1660MHz 781mV 75%POW DDR6X -300 (Stable 63FPS all't time). Where Control is stable at 750mV
It looks like you're having fun with the new card. Have you tried Metro Exodus enhanced edition yet. The Ray Tracing is pretty sweet in that one.
This Friday I will hopefully join the club. Pulled the trigger for a Gigabyte Vision OC. And while I was not so happy I paid 1600 euros for a gpu, next day I saw the price rising to 2200 on same website I bought my card I am pretty sure you can find the card on a better price but that maked it feel a bit better. Looking forward to put my hands on this beauty. Any guru having experience with this 3080ti version?
Cool & Quiet 75% Fan is what You need (65% is also good when UV). This GPU is a beast, any game will run smooth as silk (RT + DLSS).
Yes, I also have one. Like OnnA said, it's a solid card that runs as cool and quiet as a 350W GPU can reasonably Please could I ask a favor? Once you get it, please could you check the BIOS version in GPUZ and if it's later than 94.02.71.40.4B, also upload the BIOS to the Techpower site using the button in GPUZ? I've discovered that Nvidia are constantly providing new BIOS versions to their partners, some of which fix REALLY annoying/bad bugs. The partners, eg Gigabyte will use these BIOS' when they produce new cards but are very lazy about posting them on their site so that existing customers can get the fixes.
will do! did you guys register you cards to gigabyte website? As Hilbert says in Gaming OC review: https://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/gigabyte_geforce_rtx_3080_ti_gaming_oc_review,1.html I believe same applies for the other gigabyte versions of the card and it's a nice +
I don't think it applies to the Vision for some reason. I couldn't find where to register it on the Gigabyte site. Odd given that as far as I can tell, it's exactly the same card as the Gaming OC.
I did when I got mine 2 months ago, no idea if it counts for anything though, given all the hacking stuff that happened to Gigabye in the meantime...
I just checked on Gigabyte website. It seems that 4 years guarantee is only for Gaming OC, Aorus and Extreme Waterforce. Above reference is not present on Vision and Eagle so I assume the guarantee is 3 years.
Mind You that this is on 2x8Pin GPU (~360tW Max but it's Cool & Audiable) IMhO This is good run Zen at 4.3GHz 1900IF 3800MHz CL16 1T PortRoyal 12997 (almost 13k) (Top 50% with +1000MHz Mem) -> https://www.3dmark.com/pr/1220343 TS 19099 (Top 31%) (+400Mem) -> https://www.3dmark.com/spy/22865800 FS Extreme 23614 (33 Pos. in 3Dmark) (+400Mem) -> https://www.3dmark.com/fs/26266433 Note: Need to retest with +1000MHz Mem
