No problems with PotPlayer at all. I have testes last few versions of UWP driver and PotPlayer.
D3D11 DXVA decoder + D3D11 renderer. I don't use external codecs.

 

I've not heard of the tv freesync stuck issue as an actual amd side issue but I do have a freesync tv that does the same thing when connected to my Xbox series X, adaptive sync is just stuck on regardless if turned off on the Xbox or not but it's also a first Gen freesync display so that's just inherent issues of Gen 1 Freesync which does have quite a few issues that cannot be fixed as they are board issues

 

Fun fact, I added the support for x264 L5.1 DXVA decoding to MPC-HC for AMD back in 2010

This is a nice driver update for ppl like me that have a rx5700 xt
Got sam on in 2 restart,
Small problem was to remake all overclock profile 'cause new version of adrenalin software, but nvm
Got small performance gain with custom OC-UV profile 2000mhz-1050v-1800mhz with these, timespy at 10096! before i can't pass 9900! to think Rx 6600 Xt and rtx 2070 super got 9800 , rtx 2080 10600 i fell pretty damn good!!!!
Now even my flat undervolt profile 1980(stock)-1050v-1750(stock) got 9870 in time spy!

weird they put the cpu vcore voltage and not the actual gpu vcore voltage?

 

Do you have it enabled in Windows?

valhalla and rdr2 are (the only?) two games that have a similar big gains with SAM

Guys, does Vega 56 supports SAM/Resizable bar?

 

polaris and vega do not support it.

 

More like "AMD does not unlock it" for them, afaik it works with Polaris and RADV driver on Linux. Well, still better than Nvidia locking out even Turing users.

This driver has a bad bug. You can't add a game to make a profile for it. Soon as you click browse for game CC crashes. No way to set launch with eyefinity do to this either.
Makes this driver unusable.

 

I think I have 10 or so game profiles, try a clean driver install

 

On my X370Taichi+5600X (yes, we exist)+V56, GPU-Z showed ReBAR as "enabled", for the last 3 months. There were some minor but constant improvements in bench scores.

SAM wasn't/isn't supported.

Unfortunately, my XFX64 BIOS wasn't UEFI compatible, so I couldn't get into BIOS/safe mode etc, since there was no monitor signal right until the Win10 login screen.

 

I'll try to trim the file and make an example file.

I have checked again and it happens with all DXVA hardware acceleration, D3D9 also, write back and Native.

 

On this driver version? I can't even import my settings. I always do clean install.

 

Vega's HBM could work nice with SAM, if possible
