    Hello there :) !

I'm a new owner of a Lenovo Legion 5 Pro Laptop with RTX 3070 and, for the life of me, i can't find what is needed for dynamic boost to work.
    L5P has a 115W+25W dynamic boost.

I tried installing optimus and other stuff, this didn't enable the 25W.

Would anyone kindly tell me which component is needed to get dynamic boost back on clean drivers ?

    Thanks a lot :) !

what does the process and module monitoring driver do? is frameview sdk necessary for frameview? would be nice if we had some explanation of these driver modules and what they did........... and or dependencies...............

More information is always good, but in fairness, I suspect that all of the above is Googleable. Its NVSlimmer not NVDriverExplainer

Yo, I recently used this when installing a second GPU, and have noticed that my NVidia control panel doesn't have the drop down that lets me specify which should be the default one.

Does that drop down require a specific part of the driver package I'll need to re-enable, or is this just a mystery problem that has nothing to do with the slimmed down drivers?

Just had the following error with a repackaged driver:

    Application error

    Exception code:
    0x000006d9
    Address:
    0x138e4f99

    Driver 471.96 x64

Not sure what went wrong but after trying again with the same checkboxes, this time straight to install; it worked.

Or do your own stripping down the driver, pretty easy and works every time.

I leave it as default and just enabled MIS mode. That gives you same as using MSI IRQ utility with just MSI checkmark.

That of course is just your opinion, I like to know what is crap about it?
I have been using it for yrs, ever since it came out and it does what it says.

I have never needed to run DDU either, unless you have some issue with the installed drivers a "clean" option should work fine.

I have a couple planned features.
I just need to work out the time to implement them.
But sit tight, they're coming sooner than later. ;)

    Something bad maybe :)
Seriously, put priority back to default, setting many to high defeats a high priority value plus nobody really knows if which device really is fully supported.
Also only enable MSI if the device supports it, those two Intel serial IO 12c host controller devices shouldn't have MSI checkmarks, you can see it didn't take (positive values on IRQ's).

I would also post in that thread I linked above so mbk1969 can see it, he knows way more than me on this.
