Currently, there are two models in the product lineup: the addressable RGB LED fan "SE-226-XT ARGB" and the regular fan SE-226-XT BLACK.... High-end side flow ID-COOLING SE-226-XT cooler series has 250W TDP
i like this coolers that let some space for the dimms, sadly in the air coolers field, it looks like there is not much to innovate.
Google, the great unknown? Just need to search for the product..... https://www.overclockers.com/id-coo...HpHaLNR7FLs-1630701647-0-gqNtZGzNAjujcnBszQj9 https://thinkcomputers.org/id-cooling-announces-se-226-xt-cpu-air-coolers/
I use duckduck because brave recommended it and when i saw it is a privacy oriented search engine i just kept it
Indeed. Noctua NH-D15 has 183W TDP and is more than enough to keep up with my 3900X pretty cool and always was direct competitor to AIOs. Yet struggles with 10900K and 11900K hitting 90C quite easily as they do all the 280mm AIOs, requiring 360+ A 250W goes well into custom watercooling territory and still won't be enough for the 12900K which is well into 350W area!
I've got a 5960X with an NH-D14 on top of it. That's OCed to 4 GHz and runs under 75 C load. That was a power hungry chip when it was new, oh how far the mighty have fallen!
Intel's IPC hasn't gotten that much better either, so they're basically relying on higher clocks in order to get more performance...
