If you have a b550 or x570 board you can use the EDC bug to get more clocks, be aware it gets hot

PBO manual EDC1 scalar max , max target freq 500mhz. You can also play with the clock gen

my 3900x does 4.7ghz on 6 cores , just be aware that the clock gen will mess with other devices, leave it at stock 1 then try small bumps really small.

I have a water loop with big rads 360/60mm and even so on stress for 30min it gets to 80c.

Gaming goes around 60 to 70 half fan speed.

Score is as it should be, since you didn't overclock your GPU at all + recent driver boosted performance in 3D Mark TimeSpy test.

Funny enough been enjoying some World Of Tenks and D2R Beta. I gotta say having over 130fps in WoT with 5120x1440 is just pure bliss.

Just to show, Re-BAR and SAM are enabled with my 3700X

Installed 21.8.2 then ran Windows update and it installed some older driver that also got rid of the control panel... anyone else have this issue?

I had to run DDU and re-install 21.8.2 then use the windows update hide/show tool to hide the 27.20.21030.10 so it would not install over my current drivers and render the control panel unusable.

I'm probably not going to be in the top 10 for long, but here I am in 4th (or technically 3rd since 1 and 2 are results from the same person).

I think I have a good clocking GPU on my hands :D Maybe if I look into more power tools? (This is all just done with overclock and undervolt in wattman) shame my CPU lets me down :( .

Edit: Just so there's no confusion, Top 10 of the 3700X and 6700XT combination, no doubt will be smoked by people with other CPUs

    Folks i was wondering,
    would a 6600xt 'work' on a gen3 pciex4?
    I'd gladly take up to a 15 - 20% loss in performance.
Gonna wait on 12th gen i5 intel if it's out soon so it'll eventually find it's home there or in a i3 11th gen.

If the PCIex x4 is mechanically an x8/x16 slot then yes - no probs.
But If the slot is mechanically only a x4 one (which is shorter than a mechanical x8/16) then - no, since you won't be able to "squeeze" the card in there. See comparison of x1 x4 and x8/16 slots :

Then it should be no problem, however bear with performance decreases with PCIe 3.0 x4... I believe Hardware Unboxed did a great test published on YT in this regard lately...

I used MorePowerTool in 6800 and increased the power limit (w) to 310 and the TDC limits (A) to 330 and it gave very good results, the temperature went up 10 degrees but the cooling implementation of Powercolor is very good.
I have to go to an older version of the bios to achieve 5GHz in the processor with the latter the maximum is 4850GHz and I lose slightly in performance.
