Battlefield 2042 to be Bundled with NVIDIA's RTX 30-series Desktops and Laptops

Weird, seem's unnecessary from a business point of view. Cards are already selling instantly at inflated prices so there's no need to incentivise a purchase.

 

I can already imagine miners buying these cards, and selling of the keys for this game on ebay.

 

It's PR for both Nvidia and BF2042 since BF2042 support DLSS at launch.

They can easily bundle a game nobody would buy with hardware containing a GPU that's horribly overpriced.

Honestly, I'm not sure what you are on about. My point was that the cards are selling out anyway and will do well into next year. If they start to slow up then they can bundle stuff then.

 

they are selling desktops/laptops not cards, cards just come with.

 

So if I buy a 3060 for 6-700€, nvidia considers this as too cheap to bundle a game with it...

 

thats what happens when you are actually trying to sell pc's and not the graphics card.

 

You probably are, but I don't think you're stupid or anything. I'm just tired of the series and it doesn't motivate me.
I played thousands of hours in all games since BF1942 on PC (except Hardline which is not a BF game for me), and including a mode to play the same modes and maps I already played thousands of hours doesn't feel fresh enough for me.

Well, if you actually pre-ordered then yes. But chances are, you pre-bought... so money's already gone down the EA drain.
Not that I'm not excited for BF2042 - only wish I was 10-15 years younger so I'd actually have time to play it - but pre-buying is just a no-go.

"but I get to play a week early!" yeah... in the bug fest that will be launch week, where you're probably lucky to get to play an hour at a time. Nah... rather just wait and see what happens and what controversies arise.
