Not seeing that problem, I play in DX12 mode so is it a DX11 problem?

Noticed this post over in the Reddit thread....

    https://www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/p1pszx/game_ready_driver_47168_faqdiscussion/h8mt7v5/

A temporary workaround for one of the issues is to set 'Local Reflection Quality' to 'Off' in the game settings. DirectX12 should be fine.

Could be a client issue, Division2 not invalidating textures i.e. Massive's end. Older drivers may have a driver level workaround in place.

Pinged /u/lokkenjp just in case information is useful.

EDIT: Could be unrelated but 47x.xx series added two flags to the Division 2 profile:

    Setting ID_0x006d6197 = 0xa2b53761
    Setting ID_0x00a25fc4 = 0x20000003

May be worth trying an older Division 2 profile.

Asus ROG Strix GTX1070 8G, first time I see these problems.
On Sanatorium, several garage doors with shimmering textures, never had those before.
In event viewer, several nvlddmkm errors related to game textures (?).
Rolled Back, to 471.41, problems are gone.
    Either driver or patch problem.

the nvklddm TEX/GPC exceptions have nothing to do with textures.

Rolled back to 471.41, got an error as well, so it's no driver issue.
The game itself is at fault then. Every battle pass update brings 5-10days of bug hunting.
I had these errors before, they always went away after another patch for the game.

    Just remembered this:
This morning round 4 of outbreak, me and my mate, I'm on pc he's on Xbox series X.
    I get a fatal error, he's get's connection interrupted.
Later that morning he's hosting, round 2 outbreak.
Same thing, excecpt he's the one who has a fatal error and I get connection interrupted.

Try using ''maximum performance'' for power setting in NVCP, helped me with random driver crashes, OC or not doesn't matter.

Does Maximum Performance generate more power than the Optimal Power option?

There will be always bugs in drivers and software, you can try 21H2 or Win 11 for optimal game performance it's a top driver for those 2 OS-es, i am running Win 11

Hard to believe, i have sometimes errors due to high server loads, with the message "cannot reach the server".

Does the driver not undo the read only state of the file?

No, because no other game is having a issue, it's only ACV, wife was having the exact same problem on her GTX 1660 Super.
Turned on maximum performance which allowed me to finish the Paris DLC, randomly crashed when I got back to England.

Previous driver didn't have any problems, but 2 drivers prior experienced the same crashes.
I don't know if it's because I'm using the Ubisoft Plus version and not the outright bought.

I'll keep these installed because I've completely finished Valhalla, if I do run into issue I'll roll back.

Other games working does not eradicate the possibility the card is unstable.

@XantaX Can you please make a single post (with all the quotes) instead of 7 single ones in the future ?

Guess you missed the bit where I pointed out a previous driver was working as well as my wife having the same issue, but hey ;)

No, i actually disregarded it because the function of previous drivers have nothing to do with current drivers or whether a device has a degradation based issue that is exposed when processing behaviors change.

Its like saying cyberpunk 1.1 didn't crash my overclocked cpu but 1.2 did so it must be the game (its not, its a bad overclock)

I'd rather not vouch for Ubisoft D3D12 crap renderers. There are so many crash reports in conjunction with them, poor coding quality must be a factor too.
