    DPC's being performed in order sequentially and being interruptible for IRQ procedures are subject to hardware latency occuring through Message Resends when an ACK fails and the Bus has to notify the driver and device of a new attempt.

    I've also run one of the "How to generating an event trace log for GPUView to troubleshoot performance issues/low FPS/game stutter" logs, and will DM it to you on Guru3D.


    The test was run with VALORANT open, and using my computer. I'll re-list the specifications in the DM.

    Probably pointless to explain that it is better to use the Windows Performance Toolkit to test, track and analyze the issue instead of using LatencyMon which really doesn't show the details?

    Yes, unless "Full Screen Optimizations" are disabled for the game (which isn't possible with all games and it doesn't seem to help with VR either).

    Nvidia suggested to turn off MPO for the dpc issue but now it's causing issue in some games in fullscreen?Where it shouldn't have any effect?
    Stuff keeps getting more confusing with every new driver.
    I'm still on 466.11 with mpo disabled because it was suggested to disable mpo at the time but now im even more confused.I guess leave it disabled for now?

    Driver running GTA 5 excellent here, however.
    Using Fast Sync, Vsync or Adaptive with 60fps limiter, was still getting stutter around Trevor's house, not the apartment at Vespucci...my cinematic camera donut test at the beach was still smooth.
    So I set vsync to application controlled, left the 60 fps limiter in nvcpl. enabled and now the stutter is gone around Trevor's first house.
    Not sure why this worked now, but in the past, pre 21H1, games would stutter like crazy with just fps limiters and no type of vsync enabled, it's a good strange, but strange nonetheless.

    Excellent driver. The mpo_disable works great. I have good latency already but somehow this clears up random stutter. I'm suprised. Good Job!

    Driver crashes playing BO Cold War, event viewer is filled with nvlddmkm errors.

    Same with Assassin's Creed Valhalla, was playing the new Paris DLC, screen locked even log showed nvlddmkm error.
    3090 is at stock settings, no OC.

    I also noticed a strange flickering in dark area's when looking up.

    Driver is fine with BO Cold war, tested 2 1060's and a 1080.

    only people having issues seem to be with fringe stable OC models which has become the usual case.

    WinUI interfaces weren't rendering into enough alpha bits and shadows were rendering badly.

    It appears your gfx cards default overclock isnt stable.
    I only get what you report when I overclock too far.

    If an earlier driver doesnt do this, stick with that for now, its possible this driver is letting (some?) cards push a little harder.

    How do those artifacts look?
    Didn't experience any in the last couple of weeks while playing the game with native scaling (100%).
    It's either linked to offset scaling or another in-game setting.
