Working great for me with a RX 580! I'm not certain, but these seem better than 21.7.1 for me with Oculus Link.

 

Basically Radeon Enterprise 21.Q2.1 "June 18, 2021" are newer than 21.5.2 and last GCN architecture to support it. This driver featuring binaries between 21.5.2 and 21.6.1
We know since since release 21.4.1 and later, the overclocking capability on some GPU models especially GCN series are bugged or fail, and also resulted in BSOD. That's why i avoid 21.4.1 and later as "basedriver" modding.

Just like Radeon Enterprise 21.Q1.2 "April 22, 2021" featuring binaries between 21.3.2 and 21.4.1. Since 21.Q1.2 is newer than 21.3.2, also the last driver to fully working overlocking on GCN arch.

I remember when using Catalyst FirePro era my 8790M detected as Firepro

 

What GPUs are affected by that OC issue? Or is/can it be any GCN GPU including Polaris and Vega?

 

for GCN, 21.4.1 to 21.5.2, "almost" all affected ranged from HD 7800 to R200 series, expect for R300. That driver version breaks OC capability, on some GCN mobile devices the OC are impossible to do it even with third party apps like MSI afterburner or Sapphire Trixx 6.5.0, while 21.Q1.2 or 21.3.2 no problem whatsoever.

 

I haven't play games in a few months, yet alone test any drivers. I'm still using 20.Q3. still the best drivers overall so far. But thanks for the update info, will check it out tomorrow.

 

Can someone mod this and use the 21.8.1 driver package?

 

Good to know thank you. I have a R9 290 Vapor-X and somehow AMD was updated to 21.5.2 which I only noticed because I was getting errors.

 

Just an update:

I have been doing alot of testing with my two computers, using my RX 570 8GB, WX 7100, and main card W5500 Radeon Pro with the latest enterprise driver and Adrenalin drivers, 21.10.3 and 21.10.4, 21.11.1 , only games i test on Brink FPS, Gear of war 5(benchmark), Gear tactics(benchmark), Control, Mafia 2 benchmark, sleeping dogs. This is what i notice, all the adrenalin drivers behave the same in terms of stability, performance, fps, i so no difference in performance whatsoever, everything works fine, no problems.

But, using the latest enterprise driver, the framerate in games are slightly higher than all the adrenalin drivers, which I'm not really surprised, because i always notice enterprise drivers are slightly faster.
Works extremely well on my RX 570 too. So just my views, after my testing, the last latest adrenalin drivers are pretty much perfect, no problems at all, solid. But enterprise 21.q3 is a bit faster in every game i ran with both using w5500 and rx 570. If you happen to have a WX 7100, i don't recommend you use adrenalin 21.10.3 and 21.10.4, seem to have some heating issues at idle ( my card was at 85c ), switch to 21.11.1 or the enterprise one, problem went away.

Epsionage724 i see that you like this post, I am using 21.Q3, since last night i have been testing them more and overall they are better than 20.q3. So i do recommend these if anyone is going to use some enterprise drivers. Working great for all my cards.
