New Ghostbusters trailer makes it look like a movie for teenage girls, not even gonna post it after seeing it.
'Old' (2021) best movie i've seen all year. Was like a twilight zone episode with great actors (mostly) and fantastic story /setting.
Currently going through M. Night Shyamalan movies, watching 'signs' right now and just about near the end, excellent movie and Mel Gibson, one of my fav actors of all time, i love the guy. Got 'the village' lined up next.
Just saw this... kind of big, guess we really won't be seeing her in anything to do with marvel ever again. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-58017445
Seen that, how are we meant to like these actors when they come across as greedy bastards? What a world we live in today.
It says she was promised the film would be shown at the cinema for a set period of time, but in reality it was streamed at the same time on the disney streaming thing... wouldn't call that greedy, just a breach of contract if true.
We all took losses during covid, but not these billionaire actors? She lost out on some bonus money big deal. Not seen the movie nor will i ever, just more stupid woke agenda bullcrap, helped along by these Hollywood puppets. Suing disney lol.
Yes and no, indeed it's a contract and they breached that contract but she's almost hitting the same level of stupid as Chris Nolan did with Tenet. Caring little for the concern of the people who gave her her stardom and only concerned with what she thinks is best for her. We are still in a very precarious position with the gobal pandemic and the box office drops shows exactly what I think is the real situation just now. The folk who want to watch her movies at the cinema and are comfortable doing so will go and see the movie in the first week or two of release. Those who are still not comfortable enough to go see her B List Marvel movie, that's two years late, would have waited. Bit rich to think she lost 50mil on the movie. IF and I mean a big IF it had been released on schedule it may have earned enough to give her that pay deal purely by riding the wave left from End Game but over two years later and with three shows that are clearly starting to establish and pushing the MCU's post Infinity Saga storylines, a prequel to Infinity War that does nothing for the character, gives us no real or new information doesn't establish any post Infinity Saga story line beyond a replacement for Black Widow herself and at best was a mediocre movie that doesn't really do anything new, nah, wishful thinking.
I've heard about the twists in Shyamalan's movies but the one in 'the visit 2015' scared the crap outta me lol.(the twist in 'the village' was excellent too) Up to this point i was enjoying movie pretty much apart from that one jump scare when granny finds the cam. Ok time to jump back in tho i'm totally freaked out now. Edit: Finished it great movie the young lad was very talented and funny and the granny was good also. The Best M.
