Yeah, just logged in to write that. I'm just an idiot who forgot to restart after applying settings in MPT :p

    Works like a charm still.

If they give us a way to put more voltage but no they had to limit it...

Yeah there's a bit of a variance on each GPU, with a better voltage adjustment many of the cards could probably be stabilized around the same clock speeds but each of them are hard capped with only the 6900XTXH getting the 1.2v maximum.
Would love to see if I could stabilize 2400 at 1.050v but the current cap prevents that idea ha ha.

It's also all about voltage scaling and how the GPU is affected by altering the sliders and clock speeds with how it affects a curve now, Buildzoid showed it pretty well through a oscilloscope and also how the GPU is very aggressive in power saving.
Though I think you also wanted to have a bit of a range between minimum and maximum too in order to mitigate clock stretching behavior.

Figuring out the GPU behavior from documentation and provided info or tooltips would be nice too not a variety of tech articles, comments and testing by the community since Wattman and what it actually does for Navi20 is not that clear.
Knowing something on how the offsets work and behaves would kinda help with offset modifiers for the GPU which is what is going on now when tweaking the card or most of it at least. :p

This doom has been a nvidia since realease, and its not an upgrade to doom 2016, worst grafics and gameplay. Even the music is at a lower lvl . Spent 25 on it and still cant play it because its really bad. But oh well it has RT now and it actually looks a bit better.

Finished Doom 2016 and Eternal, IMhO (Gameplay wise) both are good games.
    Both has some good/strong points.
Now im into Prodeus :D -> For the Doom fans strongly recommended (simple yet FUN).

I like Doom 2016 more actually, I'm still trying to get a handle on those jumping around challenges in Eternal. Man, I hate those LOL! Just let loose the demons, gimme enough ammo and I'd be fragging beasties left, right, and center!

@Shadowxaero that's pretty close, with few more tuning (RAM for example) you can easily outperform me :)
    What is your IF frequency?

When I ran the 21,022 I was at 1800 IF, I do have new RAM running at 3800Mhz with an IF of 1900 now. Just managed a 21,576.

I would need to Tune my CPU again to back to the 18K CPU score and I am feeling lazy right now lol.

Edit: Managed to get a little higher (21,707) but I can't get my CPU score back to 18K....

for reference card users: can you control the fans via radeon panel? seems that settings are ignored

I control them through Radeon Panel. It may seem like the settings are ignored, but remember that they work off the hotspot temp, not edge one.

What were to happen if I used the Red BIOS Editor to edit my new 6600xt BIOS and upload it to my card? It has a dual BIOS switch since it's an XFX Merc model. Card is not officially supported for the editor, but It allows me to load my reference BIOS, and load an MPT file as well.

I know going beyond 1.15v with writing to the "SPPT" file causes it lock to 500mhz since AMD locked out people from overvolting at the end of 2020. But I thought I read in the instructions that writing to BIOS is a workaround. Is this true? Could I try 1.18v or even 1.20v on my 6600xt? I'm tempted to try since I have dual BIOS, but I'd like to know if someone already tried and it's pointless.

I don't know what happened over the past couple of months but all my GPU scores are roughly 1000 over what they used to be and my CPU score is down from 9900 to 9100 consistently as well.
