Admittedly, not a lot of very good sales, but I managed to find some through gg.deals. They sort deals from best to worst and you can check if the price really is historically low. Got all of the old Tomb Raider games for less than 5 pounds.
I got this so far: Spoiler https://store.steampowered.com/app/281430/Clans/ Had to burn an AudioCD to get the music to play (one of those oldies that did this like Age of Empires)
Is it just me or Steam sales has gotten worse with time :/ , could not find anything good for my likings and it seems prices are not that great on good games either. I will pass on this one ...
Actually got a number of games in this sale. Upgraded 3DMark, ATS Utah DLC, a couple of Wreckfest DLCs, Strange Brigade Season Pass, Ori collection (good but a lot of swearing ), Far Cry 3 and 4, Mirror's Edge and Catalyst, Dishonored, Metal Slug triple pack and A Way Out. Last one is fun and if anyone wants to play for free, add me on Origin: MaCk0y7. Just need to download the trial version and then I send you an invite.
Only got Poly Bridge 2 and Serious Sam 4. Probably won't get anything else, because my backlog is already too big.
Probably not gotten worse but we most likely own so many games that there's difficult to see any value in these sales, speaking from my own experience. Also, there's other places to buy games these days, many sales and games being given away for free all contribute to Steam sales pretty much being a non event.
Bought Subnautica and GreedFall, was looking at them for some time and they were really cheap. Also as a lot are complaining about bad sales, I would suggest that its just an issue of having too many games and not so much time to play them. I suffer from that too.
I think people should just not expect anything from Steam sales anymore. People who have been PC gaming for a long time, anyway.
