Yes it does stutter but only in bigger towns. Im starting to think its a game issue. nvidia users also have it.

They also fixed the bug in Wolfenstein New Order with the weird square lines introduced in 21.4.1. Wonder why they didn't mentioned it in the fixed section...

That's what the integrated benchmark is for, I ran it because performance in-game was terrible and not vice versa. It's related to RT only, though.
Denoiser in Control still doesn't work correctly either. Very unsatisfied with what AMD did with drivers after RDNA2 release. They looked solid first for a new GPU gen, then only to be followed by mediocrity and slovenliness. Very disappointed.

God damn stuck at work all day so I can't test it out.

Apparently Anno has FSR already and performance is good but as expected IQ shows quite a large drop off.

LOL it could be true. If true it means that there are separate driver branches being developed and maybe it will appear again...gonna keep my eyes on it just for the giggles

Anyone using MPT? Is it working for you with this driver? It does not longer work for me. I edit SPPT but it does not change.

I think I am going to stay on the latest UWP driver

What was teased over the last month turned out to be a gimmick that has killed off support for older cards

What benefit would I possibly get playing at 1080p which the majority still use

This is like the opposite of the "Finewine" meme you always read about AMD.
Fury is still very capable GPU for 1080p/1440p with mixed settings.... o_O

Fury X is around same performance as RX580 but the lack of vram is its downside. Latest games perform better on Polaris and now when Fiji lost driver support it will be left aside.

It also stutters a terrible lot while driving, which isn't there with DXVK (at least with cached shaders).

Still works for me, fans and powertune limit are definitely adjusted.

Btw. ~Life-long support for older cards on Linux/Mesa.

read elsewhere: it's not in the changelog but it seems that they finally fixed the single 144hz display memory to 100% in desktop problem!! I have to try them, I had this bug also with polaris for years

If you have multiple displays nothing has changed.

If someone can confirm 144hz with 1 display only is fixed, I am interested. With my RX580, 30 degrees idle at 120hz, 45 degrees at 144hz. Quality of life difference.

No difference for me vs. older driver, I still need to raise vertikal blanking timing to make the VRAM clock down into its lowest state for 1440p 85Hz.
Power consumption with 4k 60fps VP9 in Edge is still bad too with 33W ASIC-only, far worse than it was with the 5700 XT.

Some D3D12 games like Horizon Zero Dawn or Metro Exodus still always recompile all shaders at launch. Why does AMD not fix this? It works with Nvidia and also with VKD3D-Proton with Vulkan driver shader cache (well, apart from it being bugged in current AMD Windows drivers).
