Reinstalled and testing the entry for OverlayTestMode as well atm.
So far it seems stable, Is it me or does browsing YouTube run a lot better with it as well?
Like when changing resolution which seems to be instant, clicking an un-cached position in a video also loads fast now...

    @Astyanax
What exactly is going on with that registry entry? YouTube just went like from being sometimes weird to being on steroids?

this is one of the curve i ve been using for years but with 0.900/1896.. superb heat/watt reduction for The Old King 1080Ti ;)

Some people probably got some system instability with some drivers this driver is butter smooth for me, no crashing or what so ever.

turning it off prevents a flaw in chromium from presenting itself, i've mentioned it a few times now.

Must be some time ago, just found it under 466.11, thanks for pointing it out again though.
Hopefully Maggie Chens commit makes it way to release soon.

i ve been using like this for years with 65/50/55 manual fan under %99 load hrs of gameplay card never reach to even 60C(in winter i see max 48C) so no drop for the frequency at 1896mhz..just reduce your curve just 2 tick down for the voltage and frequency..

Latency is so much better across the board with the MPO disabled!!

So far satisfied with earlier 466.47 drivers but this registry trick to disable MPO makes me curious, hmmm..... Anyone here tried this reg MPO OFF trick on 466.47, does it work, anything changed...? Or I'm gonna have to try it myself :)

    edit
If it matters: few Pascal GPU's here, for now...

    edit #2
Oh, just realised this reg MPO fix existed since 461.09 drivers. Will try it on 466.47 today or tomorrow to se if it's gonna change anything.

Astynax mentioned is still in development so I hope it gets "fixed".Having to resort to using registry tweak for something they brought up seems lame.

MPO's are a MS thing, so can't blame Nvidia entirely.
The chromium issue is really not Nvidia's fault either, a chromium developer has added a fix on their revision control, so hopefully that goes live asap, should also fix the YouTube scrolling issue.
At least Nvidia provided a temporary fix for it while we wait.

Those DPC latency reductions discovered with it disabled are quite high.
Which makes me think that either MS really messed something up or driver and software developers aren't following the guidelines.

Same here, but there's a reason for that. Somehow, miraculously this driver gives me 90-100% GPU utilisation in pretty much all games, on SLI ! And I can see the smoother performance.

Enabled on Windows 10 pr. default, only need to add the entry to disable it.

I've had the same sentiment with nvidia on another issue related to the nvidia fps limiter and reflex games.Had a chat with Manuel about it and he claimed on their side there was nothing wrong. This started after drivers 450+.
https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforc...63-grd-feedback-thread-released-6321/3086219/ Yet to be fixed. It's like they lazily release something and hope no one notices.(And sadly most of the time that's what happens)

There will be new drivers available tomorrow, adding support for 3070 Ti

Could be something messing up on their revision control system as well, but even with the best system, human errors sometimes still slip trough.
