Some sites are already calling it Windows 11. Whatever it is, its getting some hype. Nadella is calling it "one of the most significant updates of Windows of the past decade." https://www.cnet.com/news/microsoft-to-unveil-redesigned-windows-10-at-june-24-event/
As usually, let's wait and see. Regarding Microsoft, I don't trust the Greeks even when they bring presents.
Or just stick with win10... ? Doesnt have to be all that difficult... was on win7 till i switched for win10 in 2016...
You will need a new Window's OS with HW scheduler for big/little type CPU cores coming out in few months (2022). This will be both Intel and AMD too.
It's not hard to have "one of the most significant updates of Windows of the past decade" if the only thing they released in the last decade was Win8 (which was lacking anyway), WinRT, and Win10. So with only one upgrade, a second upgrade in a decade's easily one of the most significant updates. Buzz words for BS bingo.
Oh god, whenever Microsoft says its "big" that normally means they gonna F stuff up. Like others have said, if it goes the way of MacOS I shall be going full time Linux (manjaro or popOS) already have popOS installed with Windows 10.
It's gonna be Windows 10 with rounded window borders and some borderline useless Paint 4D app thrown in exclusively. They are overhyping the thing for no reason.
untill they say they want eveyone on new OS and let be done for free for few years?, then claim they close the option but it still can be claim freely?
More details. Seems its being updated or enhanced more for developers or creators in mind. https://www.cnbc.com/2021/05/25/mic...ases-windows-update-teams-azure-improved.html From MS "Book of News" on the new build: https://news.microsoft.com/build-2021-book-of-news/
My guesses, New Windows will collect data like never before. It will no doubt be friendly to security services.
I can see them making it impossible for the OS to run without "Windows Defender" running always in the background... for security reasons of course... Thank you for helping us help you help us all.
