Might as well make one xD Something else i am curious what these vram temps are from these ti,s under full load. It might be higher then the 3090 because its slightly higher clocked ? I am still trying to find a review of the 3080 ti with vram temps in them.
Seems like a complete waste of money at the MSRP, not that many people will be able to get one for £1,050. My guess is that these will cost *more* than the recommended selling price of the 3090!!! The card is overpriced by about £200 and there is no doubt in my mind that NVIDIA have done this knowing full well than the small number of these cards that do go on sale will be be going for inflated prices. They are just doing exactly what the scalpers are doing, i.e. ripping people off. Seeing this at this price has made me realise how disappointing it is compared with the superb value I got out of my £700 GTX 1080 Ti. It is only 10% faster than the RTX 3080 on average but costs 70% more!!! How is that value? It is 2021, of course, and the concept of value has gone completely out of the window with scalpers and the silicon shortage. And, yes, if I sound bitter then it's because I am. I want to upgrade my PC but getting a good replacement for my 1080 Ti is impossible here in the UK. The 3080, which was released last September, is still out of stock at every single site I've looked at. I'm sure it will be the same for the 3080 Ti as well. Depressing.
its faster than the 3090 in some cases its cooler everyone complaining so far is irrelevant because they don't even have to buy the cards to get them.
Cooler because they had to adjust the fan speeds by making them spin faster, since the Ti is almost a 3090, which clearly needed a much bigger cooling system. Ok, you will be able to undervolt it and get less heat, but out of the box the TDP is as power hungry as the top tier gpu, 350W. Anyway, I really consider myself lucky being able to get a 3080 for about 1000 euros back in november.
Yeah same here RTX3080 for 925 Euro they go now for 1700+ Euro. The RTX3080TI supposed to cost 1200 Euro for starters that will be driven up by scalpers feels bad
So as soon as Newegg (USA) sent out an email ................they were out of stock Prices are anywhere from $1200 -$1900 as well.
I saw all the reviews and am not impressed. Overpriced is an understatement. I decided early on that my money would go to a system upgrade and NOT GPU. I went from an X299 i7 7820X to a Ryzen X570 Tomahawk with 5950X. That alone increased my 2080TI performance. New ram at faster speed and so on. The real upgrade is the 3080, which is worth the money at MSRP...too bad no one can find one. Gonna live with the 2080 TI, since it has 3070 performance and pretty much does everything I throw at it. Happy with what I have for now.
There are a few ti,s available here in the netherlands on certain websites but u pay over 2500 euro, also i have seen one 3090 for 15k on an official webshop super cheap a bargain lol.
Just sharing USA prices from MicroCenter on some RTX 3080 Ti brands. ASUS 3080 Ti ROG Strix OC, $1,999.99 Gigabyte 3080 TI Vision OC, $1529.99 Gigabyte 3080 Ti Gaming OC, $1479.99 EVGA 3080 Ti FTW3, $1,399.99 MSI 3080 Ti Gaming Trio X $2079.99 Save $310.00, your cost, $1,769.99 I still do not understand why MicroCenter list items hundreds of dollar above MSRP and then tell buyers they are saving. MicroCenter sold the MSI RTX 3080 Gaming X Trio for $1,114.99
£1049.00 for the founders edition here in the UK, but Nvidia are your friends remember. They care about gamers.
I went to pick up some Kryonaut paste at our local shop today and saw a couple of ASUS 3080 Ti TUF Gaming on the shelf (or rather, stacked next to the shelf). They sold it for €3499 (yes, they actually sold two already, which is mad). Curiously enough, they also had one ASUS 3090 ROG Strix on the shelf for €2999. I asked them about the prices, why they are so much above MSRP and why the 3080 Ti version is more expensive than the top end 3090 and they told me that's due to crazy high supplier pricing on video cards at the moment and they really can't do much about it as they'd have to sell at a loss. They also said it makes no sense to them that the 3080 Ti costs more than the 3090 either. And that's a shop that usually has great pricing on hardware (and they still do on anything but video cards right now), often even selling them slightly below MSRP. Complete madness.
not in guru3d's testing, but in others there are a few titles where it pulls ahead, especially a couple of cases where the user locks down the fan speed for noise annoyances.
Crazy Video, thanks. Got my Titan Xp's for 500.00 and under, got 4 of them now, mainly using for folding@home/Boinc. Just 2 of these Titan Xp's, in pure rasterization performance, would sincerely eat the 3080ti for lunch, at a fraction of the price, same goes for RTX 3090, 2 Titan Xp's is already at par or slightly faster then the RTX 3090, again, at the scalpers price where its now, its not worth it, the Xp's would give a run for its money, who cares about DLSS and Raytracing in this generation, still in its infancy, I would wait a generation or two later, by then we are talking, now, not interested, in time, yes, an no, I am not dissing any RTX 3xxx owners out there, I am talking about the current situation in general with these Gpu's in general. Its not worth it, if you can find Titan Xp's for $500 to $600/$650 each, and if you can get two of them, that would most certainly be a much better by then these Scalped, Absolute Very Greedy, RTX 3xxx price, absolutely not worth it, I wouldn't do it. The Titan Xp is still an absolute beast, Ran Unigine Heaven 4.0 with 1 Titan Xp At 2400p(3840x2400/16:10 aspect ratio), @ Custom, Maxed out settings, including MSAA @ x8, I got 1006 points, still a beast, ran over 30 Fps throughout, just one card. Thanks for sharing the video.
Yeah goodluck with that. They're also selling for 2x what you suggest they're worth. Face it, the GPU market is a grifters paradise right now
