Today, we are checking the Galax HOF OC Lab Water Cooling 4400 MHz CL19. It was instead some GPUs (or SSDs) that we got a chance to look at from this company. That's definitely the high-end of the RA...

Contrary to thesis, that this "as the out-of-the-box setting is already significantly trimmed"(somewhere in conclusions) there is still room to improve.
My weak tries with 2x8GB 4400c19 gave me 64100mb/s read, 65720 write, 58200 copy and 38.8 latency, on old 8086k@5Ghz. And the same memory goes to 4300c16, 4266c16(this one have still better reads/writes/latency and copy than tested here galax@4600c19)
Thing is, to do this is needed more time, knowledge(which secondaries and tertiaries to squeeze), luck(CPU/MOBO) and again time. And patience :)

wishing they would use larger memory than 8gb/stick, but 16gb is the defacto gaming standard. but so many have gone to ITX and those want 16gb/stick for 32gb on an ITX mobo.
right now i'm rocking Crucial Ballistix MAX 4400 (CL18) which is both great and a departure from my usual G.Skill/Corsair dimms
IF Galax offered 32gb sets i'd buy two and put them on my main rig just for looks alone, despite all of the extra work fitting them into my (hardlined) rig.

It is good RAM, but we need more RAM now with higher densities.

Seems to make a neglegible diifference with 3200 cl14 again. Is this ram worth the money?

With lower latency and higher speeds of RAM comes improved minimal FPS.
Average FPS...nah, but minimal is what counts.

For CPU bound games, yes it makes a difference with minimum frames like ARMA and Civilization. If you do not play any of these types of games, or emulators, probably not.

So maybe the test logic when testing those memories could be improved?
In this review are we showing averages.
Of how much improvement are we talking about here? Do you have any link or number on top of your head?

For emulators, modern emulators are constantly evolving and you an get a speed boost just with un update of the software ( if we talk about ps3/switch/wiiU or not sure what emulators are you referring to)

Well, they do. I have 2 kits that I ordered from China, and one of them is my very best bdie kit at the moment (beating my 3800c14 2x16 from Gskill). It can do 4666c14 on my 10900k / Tachyon at 1.9v and will also post at 4800 without issue.

Checkout this benchmark for ARMA 3 MIN and AVERAGE FPS with Intel 5GHZ + DDR4-4000CL15:

Also compare to AMD Ryzen with DDR4-4000CL16 - best they can set:

Fast RAM, tight low latency makes a HUGE difference for this CPU bound game.

I only care about MIN and AVERAGE in this game hence spending extra $100 pays off MORE than a new GPU, for this game.

For other games, stick with the moar coars and GPU shader mantra or when RTGI gets to a real working solution with solid MIN 60 FPS at whatever resolution at a reasonable price.

One note. The AMD 3000 series kicks 2:1 RAM to IF at speeds OVER 3866 not 3733.
Many Ryzen 3000 hit 1900 Infinity Fabric with good tweaking using DRAM Calculator, like my 3900X working with 3800C14 overlocked ram at 1900IF. Some lucky (usually 3950X and the XT lineup) can do 1933 Infinity Fabric for 3866Mhz RAM where is the hard limit of IF.
