My first computer (technically my dads) had no hard drive. Just two 5.25 floppies and 640KB of RAM. They were A: and B: If I remember right you would put a DOS boot floppy into the A:, then once it was started, you put the program you wanted into B and then start it. I remember having WordPerfect and it came on like five disks. You had to swap disks for certain functionality. If you wanted to print you had to put in Print Disk 1, then Print Disk 2, then after printing finished put the WordPerfect disk back in.
