Adding fat to spicy food in whatever form will make it tad less spicy after the cooking like yogurt, sour cream and the likes, but it won't protect your butt. But carolina reaper just do not use em unless you are some weird ass hothead. Those are not there to make food nice and tasty just painful. Habanero and possibly something like Naga Jolokia is the upper limit. And even then used in moderation. And do not use the seeds. If you want some taste from these hottest peppers easier way is to buy some ready made sauce that is not filled with vinegar.
@big ROBOT bill So where is the link for this sharing portal? Don't be selfish dude Looks to me like this one is single-directional, opened only towards Airbud's side, boy he's gonna be pissed if he runs out of food, just a friendly warning, expecting lots of broken arms here
Some tweaking required but what might eventually turn into finger food with roasted baguette. Various dried or smoked meats, smaller sausages, salami and some cheeses. This is more like a few fast packs thrown together (Cost is a bit of a factor after all.) but with some adjustments it could be pretty good Not too bad, some garlic butter or similar for the bread perhaps or maybe some oil instead of the regular stuff as something to work on. And the baguettes being bent or rolled up in the ends makes them look funny. Hmm warm or melted cheese perhaps, there's a lot of stuff that could work just need some testing and a couple of fails first. And less mushroom shaped baguette. ~
Spoiler Tbh that mushroom shaped baguette above loooks like a "something different" to me That might happen when you don't leave your local baker a propper tip
Hah well that could certainly be one explanation. Also reminds me a bit of those Taiwan Taipei night market creations I've seen from earlier. Can't really throw up some more direct images of what those look like but this might work. https://bittenbythetravelbug.com/penis-shaped-waffle-taipei-taiwan/ EDIT: Doubt I could recreate it but some of the food, candies and desserts on display there looks like it'd be really tasty. Big ol' evening barbecue would work just fine too though much as the summer heat starting up now makes me really want ice cream and colder stuff too.
had a great fried pork chop dinner last night but I forgot to take pictures!...I know fried food ain't good for you but man it taste good! Why Does All the “Bad for You” Food Taste Good? but then again that would be another thread.... "Things that we love to do that are unhealthy"...
Just had Prime Rib on the grill with a pack of dogs (a must no matter the main meat) and Mexican Street Corn, gotta put in CAPS.. (you know if ever indulged down the hatch)._
Did some slow cooking this weekend. Chuck roast, white onion, red potatoes, green beans, and baby carrots. It's so diverse! 8 hours later
It's so tender I've been using a plastic fork and paper plate to eat all weekend. No need to use a real plate when you all you need is bread to mop up all that sweet juice, or gravy as our Italian friends would call it. @ insp1re2600
