that's AMD feature. "Stuttering game mode". sorry but not only CoD warzone has this situation with AMD cards. Try any modes with v-sync,enh. sync, play with main3d and FlipQueueSize. What about internet, servers loading, what time does it happen? by evening? or no matters what time?

I can't comment about the MP aspect of the game, but I play SP mode on both my main RX 6900 XT/R9 3900X/16GB and secondary Vega64/16GB/i7 3960X rigs and I've not experienced any stuttering. Even with RT enabled (obviously on my main rig), COD MW WZ plays smooth enough....

Have you tried to increase the power limit so that the card have more headroom to boost? (as long as you don't hit the 75c thermal limit)

Is it 4 or 8gb ver of the 580? Increasing the power limit is a good idea like merolac suggested so keep monitoring the clocks and temperatures.

Use wattman for profiles and frtc for a fps limiter, enable freesync.

Then do not use it, just use Wattman, as Undying said.

installing driver 21.2.3 fixed all the stutter issues, big relief, that was a headache that was only caused by driver being shite, come on amd work on ur drivers man... wtf

    Yea, wtf.
Like Nvidia have always perfect drivers. Especially new drivers on old cards always runs fine in all games, ey?

Where was u living before, some fantasy world where everything works, always?

And, yea, AMD user now. And before. And 1080 and 2080s between.
Both sides have crappy drivers, sometimes. Just find proper one for u...

Maybe I've been fortunate to not play games where AMD drivers have issue with stuttering (other than micro-stuttering with CF cards years ago). I've been a user of both ATi/AMD and Nvidia cards from the years starting with the excellent ATi 9700 Pro and GeForce 2 MX400 (IIRC), and have run CF/TF AMD cards as well as dual SLi cards (including the 7950 GX2) years ago.

I tend to favor AMD though, hence I have two AMD cards and one nVidia card in my three systems. Never had any real issues with their drivers through the years, even when I was running CF and SLi systems (last being 2x GB RX VEGA64 Gaming OC, 2x GTX Titan, had these in two different rigs at same time). No, neither card makers have perfect drivers all the time, but they were minor issues/niggles. I think AMD has come a long way driver-wise, not perfect, but good enough for the games I'd played. I did have an issue with Metro Exodus (vanilla one, NOT the PC EE) crashing with RT enabled (which I'd reported), but it was fixed with a later driver.

even before the gtx 970, i had low end graphic cards, like gt 220 1gb ddr3., gt 8600, never ever had driver issues with updates, but when i owned an ati card, there was always some issue that had me roll back 1 year of drivers to make it work nicely.

What are you gpu, vreg and vram temps in the game? You can use hwinfo 64 if you don't want to use MSI afterburner.

I never had any issue with ANY of my AMD card, meanwhile my friend with noVideo can barely play games due to bugs. I would say literally otherwise.

And on a serious note, the drivers are "near perfect", but the users are most of the time dumb, and it's called USER ERROR.
