always running for me for as long as i can remeber and I dont Window experience enabled in notification. not that matter to me
Can't get rid of AV notifications! I tried to turn them off in Win+I/Update & Security/Windows Security/Virus and threat protection/bottom left cogwheel. But they still show from time to time, I don't need them, as I use 3rd party AV.
I'm still stuck on 804. Update KB5000802 is failing. Error 0x800f0831. According to MS it should be because of a previous missing update package. But I checked the log and I don't find the errors listed here.
This one is caused by a missing servicing stack, you might have to repair install with the iso to correct it, this happens usually when using beta previews and you happen to miss a cumulative preview including a servicing stack update you could also have some luck using DISM/DISM++ to force install a cabinet that also includes the SSU. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us...-12-2021-c8a86bf7-6d49-b7fe-4369-44b1429b33cf https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=KB4598481
I don't do beta. Normal Windows and Linux Mint are already a handful with their broken updates. I had already tried SFC/DISM and also the SSU. It's already installed. Also tried to download and install the update from MS Catalog. No dice. What do I need to do with the ISO exactly? Maybe I should just wait for the 21H1. Thanks for the help.
^ you can get an updated ISO here from reliable source: https://isofiles.bd581e55.workers.dev/Windows 10/20H2/April 2021/
Actually regarding DISM with /restorehealth it results in Error: 0x800f081f. The source files could not be found. I will try DISM using the ISO as source.
What happens if you scan file system... does it find anything wrong? Run Command Prompt as administrator and then type. sfc /scannow
Forbidden. I tried with the ISO downloaded from Microsoft but results in same DISM error of source files not found. This is what I have in Setup event logs: 0 of 32 instances of system store corruption have been repaired. Unrepaired corruptions may lead to failures in future system servicing. I checked again CBS.log and now I actually get the errors listed in the MS documentation. What I don't understand is which is the Package ID that I need to search for on MS Update Catalog site. 31bf3856ad364e35? Repr: CBS Store check completes2021-04-21 10:42:56, Info CSI - Pastebin.com
your best bet is to just start setup.exe on the iso and do an inplace upgrade (retaining settings and documents and applications) DISM only works so long as microsoft is serving those payloads for that version still, which they probably aren't. The CBS output suggests a successful Repair
hmm very strange friend, see well yesterday I downloaded windows 10 education 20h2 v2 on the website I indicated I made the necessary modifications in my ISO I did the installation that is exactly the system that I am using now I feel not to help you more still with regard to the code that you pointed out is main part of the kernel of any version of Windows since long ago
Is this true? Although I didnt experience any issues mentioned there yet.., https://www.pcgamesn.com/100-best-free-pc-games
there are bad pool caller bsods corresponding to this update, but i believe they are specifically linked to having lmdisk installed and active.
I think you linked wrong content there (100 best free pc games). Although if you didn't then yes, free pc games are definitely an issue
