I like the new perspective, I am currently playing II again at the moment, it's got good replayability if you go back to it every so often.

It’s weird, I see progress in some things like the gameplay, but the graphics, the UI and the animations are horrible (especially the arrows). It looks like a mobile game or if it were still 2011. Not to mention the ugly framedrops (e.g. gameplay video 5:25), if I were in their place I would rather not show those scenes in this state.

Its a Beta, its demonstrating factions and gameplay not graphics and there is nothing to confirm this is a PC version being shown.

Oh yes, it's beta - final release will be totally different.
    Just like with Cyberpunk

Microsoft is a giant, CDPR is an ant.

Cyberpunk was weak, AOE series 'delivered already' for the three first remakes. Only a new AOE IV remains.

Comparison is at least irrelevant here.

I like the art and colours, the animations not so much. I hope they do a good job and release only when ready!

I think it looks too cartoony. Should be more like Total War.

They weren't showing much to being with.

It's wishful fanboy thinking that I'm pointing out - not the game differences.

Won't play either of those regardless.

Understandable, especially after the artistic differences in Star Craft

I'm sorry but graphics look really like 2008 or something , i know it's alpha , but whole engine doesn't look anything close to 2020 ..... I really cheer for this game but it does look damn bad right now (more like mobile game).

Looks like the game was either made in 2007 or for mobile. I just don't understand the ones who give the graphics praise.
