Unlike others here i hope it has really good hash rates because then all 3 gpu suppliers will be sold out but that means less people buying nVidia and AMD gpus.

Why would it make a difference when the reason for the shortage is material and not a manufacturing? All these companies are pulling components from the same pool. Adding a 3rd designer that's using the same manufacturer as AMD isn't changing anything.

Ok, so the top-end model is slower than an RTX3070 (should be around 1000 points slower in Firestrike Extreme). That's not too bad really. Certainly enough to get their foot in the door.

I wish Intel the best in the GPU market.

Like I said: only you cares. I don't need to have every single bit of info the minute it's live.

We could possibly see RGB now
    Red - AMD
    Green - Nvidia
    Blue - Intel

I'm all for having more competition in the GPU market, having being limited to only 2 has really killed advancement of cards on top of the issue of availability with miners right now.

Good ole Raja, king of overhype! Promised for years and years Radeon was gonna take on Nvidia and got slapped everytime they tried. They finally improved after he was gone

I think it killed im the bottom. We already should have gtx 1060 performance in the low end... We are stuck in 2008 performance, it is not going up. For 100$ we should get decent 1080p performance. It is not the case. Im counting on intel to change that.

It would be quite amusing in 2021 to have a PC with an AMD cpu and an Intel GPU. I would have thought someone was mad for suggesting that 5 years back :D

A surprise announcement ahead of schedule would be nice.
Imagine how it would feel if Intel...at the end of May...suddenly had these for sale.
I don't see the doom and gloom scenario for this card others tend to believe will plague Intel.
I think they'll get it right.

Yeah I think it'll be fine. Xe has already proved to be competitive in laptops, despite the lack of optimization and driver issues. Intel maybe didn't put much focus on 3D performance but they do make very functionally capable GPUs and despite what others think, that has been the case since Sandy Bridge. They just never had a focus on gaming (not much point for an iGPU) so they lost a lot of interest.

As long as prices are reasonable and they're not all sold-out, I honestly wouldn't mind getting one. I would be very wary for Windows users though - Intel has a tendency to prematurely drop support for outdated products on Windows. As a Linux user, this is no concern to me - Intel is still updating stuff going back to 2012.

I dont think it will be fast as 3080 and 6800xt especially with intel drivers. This far too optimistic.
