    Did you get the vulkan issue going from 21.3.1 to 21.3.2?

    It seems theres a similar issue with AMD+Geforce notebooks once the new nvidia driver is installed, so maybe nvidia changed something with 465 specific to the 1.2.162 loader that AMD didn't like either going from 21.3.1 to 21.3.2

    Try to roll back to MS driver that always works for me. I have that issue with AMD driver for years.

    you can disable the Audio power saving

    Taken from Nvidia Forums

    1. Find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4d36e96c-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}\xxxx\PowerSettings where 'xxxx' is one of keys which contains DriverDesc value 'Realtek High Definition Audio'.
    2. Note: There may be multiple ones containing PowerSettings, for example 'Nvidia High Definition Audio'.
    3. You'll find there three binary values and set them:
    4. ConservationIdleTime = ff ff ff ff;
    5. IdlePowerState = 00 00 00 00;
    6. PerformanceIdleTime = ff ff ff ff.
    7. Default values are all 00 00 00 00 which disables power settings, but driver somehow overrides it with 0a 00 00 00 which is 10 seconds (0x0a = 10) and is by default in driver.
    8. Problem shouldn't occur again after restart (or I haven't noticed). This is not solution to problem, it only prevents audio hardware going idle, but I don't see any impact on energy consumption.
    9. I'm going to send mail to Realtek support about this problem as it's clearly driver problem, and when (or if) they respond I'll post an update.

    No issues with my second hand 580 4gb either my older 480 8gb which died last week. If only I could install some vram. Anyway it performs the same or better, just games force me to step down settings due to vram.

    Drivers perform equally great though.

    And people say vram makes no difference. Its literally the same card one can do nightmare and other can barely do medium/high settings in doom eternal same framerate btw.

    It gets even worse with HDR.

    Last week I was playing doom 1440p nightmare/ultra nightmare. Now I play 1440p medium HDR or 1440p high SDR. :oops:

    The high definition audio in devices install an amd inf = amdafd.inf.
    I revert it to default controller hight definition audio and i dont have problems. This start with 21.3.1 driver and has nothing to do with the amd audio devices that is version 10.0.1.18.

    The enterprise driver 21.q.1 dont install this .inf

    Well if I would have the medium then I could test it. Seems only you are playing it here.... And Skyrim... I would need to clean 2 meters dust to dig to it to test it.... so.. yeah, no sorry.
