Despite needing the updated live update you still have to unzip and install the update manually, all pretty straight forward though.

 

Doesnt work on mine really weird says unsupported card

i followed all the steps everything went through but i get back into windows open nvidia control panel,information and it still says no ,wtf,yes my bios is updated with the correct bios,gpu bios update software went right through without a hitch,enabled in bios,still says no wtf

 

Is there any way to 'trick' BAR into working with a game that isn't yet supported in driver?

If it's a flag in the profiles then the inspector software is what I would think would work by adding said flag to other profiles as the easiest method but as to how it then scales and performs is going to vary.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Borderlands 3, Red Dead Redemption 2 those scale nicely otherwise it's 2 - 3% maybe up to 5% even a performance penalty could happen might be tough to spot any performance differences depending on how much of a difference it does.

There's likely a couple of other outliers that can be tested against for where bigger gains could be seen from having this active. NVIDIA's initial set of profiles probably covers many of them already though.
(Smaller performance gains are still gains but it's easier to compare and test when it really takes effect and provides a nice bigger boost.)

Anything doing a lot of copying or lookup of this data sounds like it'd possibly benefit from this so more recent D3D11 and D3D12 titles then I would imagine but as seen from earlier AMD benchmarks and now NVIDIA's even in the first wave of activated titles results will differ a bit.

 

Basing this off of scalper's prices or MSRP (manufacturer's suggested retail price)? 3060 is good to go with this feature.

Wait a few more hours for ZOTAC to officially release the firmware, it's quite possible the one you've tried is not working correctly.

 

cool,looks like ill be waiting on a bios update on an asrock x57 phantom even though support has been in the last bios and my current newest bios,i followed every step had no issues and it still says no in nvcp/gpuz so ,so its not something ive done,this on asrock

6 PST has passed and ZOTAC still has nothing, stayed up for this

edit: ok downloaded the firmware, it does not work with my 3080 OC.

edit 2: had to rollback my VBIOS, the one I had flashed was the unofficial one with the extra 5% power boost, after flashing back to the stock VBIOS the Resizable BAR firmware worked correctly.

 

Just to let evertbody know on the Asus Tuf 3070 oc card you have to flash both bioses seperately .And before you do shut off rebar in the motherboard bios or the computer will crash when you try to start on the non flashed bios.
