Has anyone seen the Founders Edition bios update from nvidia?

I hope MSI aslo release end this month for 3000 Cards.

 

They probably found that enabling resizable bar on nvidia bios breaks something with mining ,so they will not release it.

 

Amd cards ware showing improvements with sam while 3060 didnt. Maybe they making some optimizations for 3000 series that would actually make some difference on/off.

They are taking awfuly long time with this. Also 3060 with sam enabled didnt have same boost radeon has. Yes, i would like to know more.

 

Probably for compatibility. SAM on AMD in certain titles runs worse. nVidia doesn't want this.

 

The slower the GPU is the smaller is the gain from ReBAR because of the shifting of the bottleneck from bus traffic to GPU processing.
6700XT gets smaller gains from SAM than 6900XT.

they released a driver with 8 games white listed that all showed gains to be expected of the placement of that hardware, dr_rus provided the relevant settings to enable it on more.

You all crap on nvidia when it releases untested drivers, but when it actually doesn't just force enable a setting on (while amd does, reducing performance in quite a few cases) amd is the good guy XD?

 

Its popular to hate Intel and nVidia. AMD are saints.... :/

 

Bar support bios out for most Asus x299 boards now

 

I have had resizable bar support on my asus motherboard since 2020/12/08 and no way to use it.

 

z490 bar support came agaes ago. It works with AMD 6 serie gpu's

 

They all work with amd 6 gpus if you have an amd cpu like I have but the question is where do you get a amd 6 gpu?
