Not bad for the "small" APU, better than the 4000 version wich is good.
We will see what the commercial version bring in G3D to have a final idea of it.

Still has Vega GPU or Navi?

Vega 8 on this one, on other hand Navi would bring no advantage on this APU, we will see the final product.
If it follow the 4000 line, it will have 8 CPU core for the "big" one, so the GPU part should be really small, as AMD have chunk a lot the cache to put it on chip.
Also oponent GPU are GT 710, 730, and Intel 630... it is already above.

Could be interesting to see effect of IC shared between GPU and CPU (instead of L3).

And as of no effect. All APUs have severely limited iGPUs by memory bandwidth. Even 2400G with 11CUs was just tiny bit faster than 2200G with 8CUs at lower frequency.
IC has bigger performance improving potential for APUs than it has for desktop GPUs.
AMD could maybe go even for 16CUs with RDNA2 without choking them badly.

Any word when we can see RDNA2 APUs ? It could be game breking for " low end gaming PC"

My guess is AM5. As roadmap for APUs could have predate inception of IC. And AMD could have planned for better iGPU for socket with higher memory bandwidth.
If AM5 gets released and its APUs will still use GCN iGPUs, I will be disappointed.

They might as well be waiting for DDR5 to go with RDNA on the APUs.

Low end and gaming... a bit disturbing as for "low end" you have phone and console that are more apropriate (and lot of fun with console emulator).

If you could get 1060 GTX performance on APU , it would be game changing :D

Well I'm using a 2400g for an HTPC in an inwin chopin, and occasionally do some games on it like castle crashers or overcook or worms, so having something slightly more powerful would be even better since you can get a bit more out of it.

If you want to play CS:GO, LoL, DOTA, and many others PC exclusive games, this APU would shine.
And, you still can use your PC for other things, like work or studying.

This would be my next mediacenter APU, my AM1 5350 is getting a bit tired after 6 years of service.
A passive cooler and TDP lock of 15-25W would be fantastic.

Also AV1 decode is an important addition on RDNA 2.
Almost no CPU is capable of decoding AV1 through software in the highest settings.
Personally my i7-8550U can't do AV1 on 1080p 10bit on difficult scenes with high bitrate and movement. It makes me feel like I'm watching a 2CD DivX movie on my old Pentium II 266 MHz.

You can test it yourselves with Netflix's test videos:
OBU files (can be opened for example with MPC-HC 1.9.10) has files up to 4K:
    http://download.opencontent.netflix.com/?prefix=AV1/Chimera/
MP4 files (can be opened with any modern player, including VLC) has files up to 1080p:
    http://download.opencontent.netflix.com/?prefix=AV1/Chimera/Old/

Minute 2:30 and forward on 10 bit anything higher than 720p is unplayable on my 8550U.

Agree... but there is few point that are bad.
    - the size of the CPU doesn't permit to put a bigger GPU (they even chunk the cache to fit it in).
    - the GPU is limited to PCIe X8 to left PCIe of the motherboard in X8.
    No miracle there... :(

The good point is that it is already kick in despite those handicap, those vega aren't crappy at all.

Lol, I built system with same APU and case. Gave it to my father some months after as I was done playing.

Case required few modifications to have perfect cable management and It was most satisfying result I ever had.
I even hybridized original heatsink with fan from 2700X as it has RGB. That was pretty tight fit.
That case has pretty good value as it has PSU just strong enough.

Side note: PSU in this case is noisy. But only because there is mesh in front of fan. I did completely removed it (mesh) and PSU became much quieter.

Even 4x pcie would be enough for gtx 1060

what are you talking about.of course it would.
the gpu part of apus is literally the main thing holding them back.

    yeah,for pci-e 4.0, 8x is enough for a 3090

Not at all, a small RDNA would have nearly the same power than Vega, and cost more to produce as a new product...
Same memory DDR4 shared, fast for CPU, not so for GPU part...
Also don't mix the bandwith of the bus and how it work... (the Athlon 3000G and 2*0G that have only a PCIe X4 on the PCIe X16 of the mother board... i had one...)
Last point: AMD have no concurent, the one where i provide myself selling only Intel iGP and AMD APU due to lack of GPU, the intel 630 is way better than it's predecessor, but still a step back from AMD APU solution and machine with the AMD Pro 4750G are also less expensive.

let me ask again, how would e.g. 10 rdna2 CUs have the same power as 10 vega CUs ? what are you talking about ?
you are trying to defend amd so hard but fact is they've been stagnant since 1st gen apus (2200/2400) they're only trying to bring down production costs by using smaller vega gpus and clocking them higher
