It's my understanding that the 3060Ti comes with Resize BAR included in VBIOS, has anyone done any tests with the 461.40 driver with performance comparisons by enabling/disabling in motherboard BIOS?
if its not on the list, nobody knows what it does and doesn't support. @ManuelG can you have web team update the matrix
Oh ok, Since the list is from nvidia themselves I would thought they would know to add the 3060 to their list.
3060Ti Gigabyte Gaming should be here on Friday. finally. cost me 650eur,but I said to hell with it.I got a 220eur voucher from the reatailer that cancelled my 3080 order and decided to use it.It would be nicer to buy a 6800XT for 650,but I suppose I'm not going to get a better deal for months, maybe another year..... gonna sell the 1070 too, cost me 150eur in Oct and I can probably make another 100-150eur on top of that.So overall all costs considered a brand new 3060Ti for 500-550eur if I take the money I earned from the placeholder card into the equasion.
got the gb 3060ti gaming just today first of all,I gotta say i was surprised how small and light it is,even my 1070 strix is bigger and heavier.it's the first card ive had in several years that doesn't sag.and at the same time it's both reasonably cool and quiet.even on default bios im getting 62-64 degrees and the fan isn't too bad at all.audible but not too loud or unpleasant,it's just a slight woosh of air.Good job gigabtye.Really good job. got to UV right away, chose this scene in Mafia DE since it's pretty heavy, drops to ~75fps while in the city im getting over 85fps 1440p max settings default: 76 fps 215-218W ~1905MHz core clock, fluctuating just a tiny bit, memory at default 14gbps 64 degrees at 1800rpm (auto) power limit tripped the whole time uv+mem oc 79fps 191-194W 1950MHz clock at 930mV,locked 100% of the time, memory at 15.4gbps 60 degrees at 1600rpm (auto) under power limit the whole time encouraging more fps lower power lower noise Im already very happy that I can keep it under 200W and get more performance than out of the box.Gonna stick with these settings, unless I can shave off another 10w running under 900mV,which I think may be unstable.
no idea don't care really,as long as gpu is in the 60s and fan speed is in the 60s it's more than fine for me. i was a little worried when I saw afterburner reporting the card is using 60-70% fan speed on auto since my previous cards would be pretty loud at 60-70% for my taste to my surprise,at 1500rpm (62%) the card is almost inaudible,at 64-65% (1600rpm) it's just barely making noise. like I said,Gigabyte did a good job, this was the cheapest partner version 3060Ti available (except for turds like zotac twin or gigabyte eagle),and it's surprisingly good.it's not silent like my 2070 Super Trio, but not far from it either. You'd have a hard time telling them apart in a closed case. very happy with the performance too, really,at 1440p max I capped mafia de at 80fps since it's already butter smooth, while 1070 struggled to hit consistent 50 on medium settings.day and night. only thing I don't like is paying 650eur for it,but on the other hand,I may not get a better deal in months, possibly even longer. I thought about XSX,it's available around 560eur here, but really,XSX has nothing on 10700+3060Ti really, and I wanted to keep playing on th 24" 1440p high refresh display too.
With lower Undervolt you can increase the core clock offset For example, my 3090 can run +255mhz core clock when locked to 850mV, +300mhz on core when locked to 750mV. Without undervolting it's stable at +210mhz core clock. You can try to target 900mV and start increasing core clock offset until instability, it will let the card reach peak efficiency
i should stick to current settings for a couple more days,to see if they're stable. then we'll see,i may try to go lower.
System spec's i have atm, as just upgraded from my Mumod'ed Gigabyte G1 980GTX Ti Msi x99 Gaming 9 Ack i7-6850k @4.4Ghz (watercooled) 32GB Memory @3600Mhz XMP 2xSamsung Nvme 1TB 970 Evo Plus in Raid And My new Gigabyte RTX3060 Ti Elite LHR Rev2 (pci-e3.0 x16) @+450 core +1200 mem, powerlimit maxed Monitor - LG 32" Gsync Compatible UltraGear 165Hz 1080p Loving this card atm was unsure atm to upgrade not due to scalpers (As im a youtube streamer) but due to this card only having the 256 memory bus than 384 but it's really smashing any games im playing atm. Anyone know where i can find a waterblock for this gpu model. And a updated firmware for the rebar, for future upgradability. As when i check gigabyte site they have firmware for the REV1 bios but nothing listed for the rev2. Included a picture, glad to join the 3060 ti club
+450 core? no you didn't Upgrade bios for rebar is a bad move on nvidia cards, ran fine when i had an amd card last week but causes crashes on this 3060ti
mine already had rebar bios, just needed to enable on the board.how are you getting 3060ti's lhr v.2.0 with no rebar bios ? it has to already be on the card, that is why theree are no updates on the page. anyway,im still figuring the uv and happy to report that I managed to suqueeze a little more out of it. default: 57fps,1860-1890MHz,212-215W power uv+mem oc 61fps,1965mhz @893mv, vram at 16gbps, 189-192w power default: 62fps,215w uv+mem oc 67fps,195w a 20-25W power draw reduction + 7-8% perfomance increase.
I do not really understand rebar as it was not supported on my old card officially but did do something With this card it crashes games and benches, turned off rebar and above 4g decoding the crashes go away
Looks like you got yourself a very good 3060Ti sample, it clocks 90-105mhz higher at the same voltage from other 3060Ti owners report that I have seen.
