It might be worse on the new driver, there are some culling and z-order misbehaviors in the current vulkan support that would contribute to it.

When did they remove Optimal and Adaptive power options from the drop down in control panel? I'm just seeing Normal and Prefer Maximum now. Not that its a big deal, just curious when it changed and why?

if you still have that 2080ti, you shouldn't be seeing normal.

with the 460.x drivers and only on 3000 series cards.

I find that normal doesn't boost as aggressively as optimal used to - in older and low demand games it will slip into a low clock speed and can cause stutters, easily remedied by using max perf mode for those games, but I felt Optimal boosted better - but maybe not can't easily do a side by side :)

With Ampere, if you set optimal or adaptive you got Normal since the architcture was released.

Ahhh so they just updated the naming in NVCP to align. Interesting.

This was the original reason I used 457, but with ampere cards been new, its probably a good idea to update as big issues may get fixed.

But anyway so far no popping for me on 461.81, I wonder if its related to interrupt mode been used, my 3080 is using MSI mode by default, can be checked with msi mode utility.

When I mentioned the issue on OCUK the responses were actually along the lines of "I dont get it, dont worry about it".

    .
On here it's " Fix your computer "... Which is strange considering it's only the 461's doing it :palthough the guy is an arrogant troll

if only you actually had a clue about the intracompatibility concerns that go on with computers, you'd have fixed your issue already instead of repeatedly looking like the (actually arrogant) bitter clown.

couldn't possibly be the customization to the low dpc drivers for Xonars either (no sireee)
"ASUS Xonar drivers are special and issues pop-up where they shouldn't."

I love unqualified armchair kernel engineers, they teach me so many things.

Flickering is worse on the new wow patch (9.0.5) for me, sometimes it's unplayable. I'm now using DX11 until a new driver fixes this issue

Except manors it seems! - Anyway done all this before, hence it being the drivers. I've put you on ignore now anyway, in fact I don't think I've ever ignored anyone before

You don't have to like the person or their comments, but putting them on ignore seems a bit bizarre and over the top.

But that's what the ignore option is there for! If I don't see it, it doesn't wind me up the wrong way and thus happy member :). Anyway enough of me taking this thread off topic, so back to the drivers I guess!
