BIOS sadly won't fix that , it can improve a bit but there is no way there will be more than 3-5% gain in gaming from BIOS.

    nah it's hyperx silver speed

don't be surprised when it turns out latency had more of an impact than you thought.

Its not that big of impact as you think. It wont change much in gaming benchmarks.

    Looks like exacly g314...

It will affect performance but my educated guess is about 2% performance.

We'll see what AMD responds with. Good chance we see some competitively priced models on their side as well.

Personally, I wouldn't touch Rocket Lake. Seems like a mess of a product, on almost every level, compared to Zen 3.

Alder Lake, later this year, is the real interesting launch from Intel.

not as much as you'd think
10700k is faster in rdr2 and cp2077,otherwise 11700k is just a fraction faster than 10700k
can't wait for this being a $100 premium over 10700k

go home intel.really.come back when you have something worth our time.what a stupid time to buy a cpu.amd's six core starts at +300eur,intel's new gen is same as last gen but with fewer cores and higher prices.

    just wonderful.

Yeah.. a ton more power and heat than Zen 3, while still trading blows with their own last gen parts.

Price of 5600X , with lower performance , worse heat , worse wattage . Worse everything.

I guess AMD is safe making billions out of overpriced CPUs :)

120 EUR more than 5600X , for similar or worse performance . BIG LOL at intel. what a joke

    exaggerate much ?

I don't like it either for the price, but good grief, try to be objective sometimes.

except for gaming leaks,we know nothing about performance.I bet this thing excells in a lot of use scenarios where intel already did good, where ipc gains will matter more than added latency.

Nothing ? You crazy ? Like hundreds of benchmarks around the world now as they can be bought . We exacly know almost everything about the performance , and it is what it is , coffinlake refresh.

    really ?
and it's worse in everything ?

and may I remind you,we are comparing amd's six core to intel's new gen eight,as they are same price.

It is worse in gaming . This means everything as this chip is only for gaming . Unless you want play cinebench or geekbench on in .
It is gaming chip that it is worse that competition yet priced the same - so yea kinda sucks.

No the 8core unlocked costs same as 5800X. 6core unlocked is bit cheaper and bit slower.
Im not even talking about locked versions as performance will be gimped ( as always was with Intel locked models).

funny it's the same rhetorics intel fanbase used for the past few years and amd owner's hated.

but objectively, pricing aside,it's not "worse than 5600x in everything".
