Hi, I have a problem with ClockTuner for Ryzen 2.0 RC4/5 start.

    Aorus x570 Pro F33c BIOS
    Ryzen 5900X
Memory (Kingston 2x16 GB 3200 CL6) tested on XMP, and 3600 OC

    Windows 10 64 bit, version 20H2, build 19042.804
    New Ryzen Chipset drivers
    New Ryzen Master
    .NET Framework 4.8
    BIOS SVM, C-state, CPPC enabled
LLC on Auto and Turbo tested
    Voltage, Frequency on Auto

CTR Config Cleaner nothing to clean.
Manually deleted folders from user/appdata and made new start.
    I started with administrator permissions.

Simply when you start the program, it only briefly appears in the Task Manager and disappears immediately.

Everything worked OK for me at 4.5 Ghz with 1.2V, but lately my computer is restarting when I export photos from RAW format from Lightroom, so I set 4.4 Ghz with 1.2V. With PBO enabled and manual settings, the processor in games reaches a temperature of 78-86C which is too much (Arctic Liquid Freezer 280). With manual overclocking it does not exceed 66C. However on manual overclocking with 1.225V it reaches 90C very easily in Cinebench20.

    Hi,

I have a strange graphical bug with CTR, the application is displayed with borders truncated on the bottom and on the right, any ideas ? I've found nothing related with this behavior :-/

Don't pay attention to my last message, I resolved it by modifying Windows display parameters.

This question has been asked before. You have a Ryzen 3600. In your picture i see 2 CCX en 6 cores. So, it's all normal to me.

I've tried fixing the same issue, to no avail. Please tell me what setting you changed.

Question for you all. Love the app, works great, getting a kick ass OC out of my 3600 rig (4.45 @ 1.25v) but I was curious, is there a way to unload the profile once set without rebooting? I'd like to load it up for when I am gaming/working but for light browsing and video watching unload it. I'm sure I just missed a button/toggle somewhere.

You can just set it to Hybrid OC. It will switch between profiles, so when YouTubing it will underclock/volt.

He probably modified the Scaling settings.

Guys it is possible that my RAM OC could decrease OC capabilities of my Ryzen 3600? Before that with stock RAM (Crucial Ballistix 3000MHz CL15 2x8GB Micron E-die) I was able to get Tuned profile P1 with ~3800 points in Cinebench R20. I didn't try to generate P2 profiles because I dicided first stable max OC my RAM. I reached 3766MHz CL16 1.1V SOC, 1.4V DRAM, full stable (few 10h stress tests) so I back to CTR and went throught Diagnostic first and next Tune. After Diagnostic I reached only ~3620 points and after Tune worse result ~3550 points but with a bit better CPU Voltage and PPT. It is normal or sth wrong is with my RAM OC? Too tight timings? I didnt try to generete P2 profile. Ryzen 3600 Bronze sample.

profiles don't save on restart with rc5, cleaned my files already and tried it more than 5 times but no shot.

Why is CTR boosting my bad CCX above the recommended frequency more than my best CCX? I can't apply the recommended profiles because my system crashes right away.

For sure because the Memory controller is on the CPU.
I had this happen with my 6700K, it would clock to 4.7GHz with memory (also clocked) running at 3600MHz.
But if I changed my memory speed to 3733MHz I could only clock the CPU to 4.6GHz.

It was later fixed by a better water cooler on the CPU, then the CPU clocked to 4.7GHz and ram to 3866MHz.
    ymmv.

    Hi guys,

Ive been using clocktuner since its release and now am using RC4 version with hybrid oc profile. I know the guide says to leave core ratio auto but i thought that if you set the default cpu speed(i.e 3600 for my cpu-R5 3600) the vcore will continue to stay low since the speed stays the same. However, sometimes after cold boot and with CTR hybrid oc loaded the voltage stays at default (1.048v-1.096 for 3600 speed) but after 1-2 minutes it starts to fluctuate from default to highest value even though the cpu speed remains the same. This is fixable after 1-2 restarts.Could this be due to cold boot? Should i just leave core ratio to auto?

All bios settings are as per the guide except for core ratio which is not set to auto but to 36.00.

Just tried the new 'CTR 2.1 RC5' version and same issue as all other versions, BSOD/reboot on tuning.
Followed the guide, PC 100% stable on all other tests, just for what ever reason it doesn't get on with CTR. :(
It just seems that CTR always wants to boost my third worse CCX as the highest frequency.

With the new version at least it now lists the FIT scores, as well as CPPC tags, for each core.
Looks like mine don't match in order and I guess CTR is using the FIT score, so thinks those are the better cores?
Where as CPPC tags seem more in line with visible boost in real world usage?

I guess FIT scores are maybe meant to be a better way to test core order?
Certainly CPPC seems odd, as mine can change in value based on BIOS settings, though they do at least seem to stay in the same order.

    So here...

    Code:
CORES ORDER (from the best to the worst)
    ### CPPC FIT
    1 С02 С09
    2 С01 С07
    3 С03 С06
    4 С04 C10
    5 С05 С04
    6 С06 C12
    7 С08 С03
    8 С09 С02
    9 С07 C11
    10 C11 С08
    11 C12 С01
    12 C10 С05

... it shows Core 9 as having the best 'FIT' but Core 9 is only 8th by CPPC.
Core 9 is CCX3 and that is the one that is always started with the highest clock in tuning.

    Code:
    Step# 1
    13:34:34: WHEA-counter: 1
    13:34:34: CCX1 (156): 4300 MHz, 1250 mV OC=
    13:34:34: CCX2 (145): 4325 MHz, 1250 mV OC=
    13:34:34: CCX3 (134): 4450 MHz, 1250 mV OC=

4450 MHz seems to be a it optimistic for CCX3 based on what I see when I monitor my cores during normal usage.
Also Vdroop reported as 25.3% there which seems v.odd, as is the low reported temp?

Which is more inline (though not exact) with what I see if I keep HWiNFO open over a days normal usage as to the behaviour of my core boosts.

I may be getting this all wrong but to my eye CTR seems to be trying to boost my third worst CCX to the highest, then my second and fourth worst CCXs the same and my best CCX to the lowest?

CCX3 just can't handle that and so I get the BSODs any time I run it.

I could look at manually changing the numbers it starts the tuning with but to my mind that would still mean my best/better CCXs would still end up being clocked too low and my highest speed would be limited by CCX3 ?

Ok, so looks like there is a bug with 2.1 RC5 that's not loading the profiles correctly?

I have a problem with CTR 2.1 RC5 and FanControl. When I set CTR to automatically load profiles, that works correctly, but I lose automatic control of fans. It seems that FanControl does not refresh temperature readings and thus it does not control fans. If I disable HybridOC and close CTR, my fan controls are working again.

    This is FanControl:

Same error here. I didn't have any problem with the 2.0.

Ps: I would like to thank the Clocktuner's team for your time to make a wonderful work.

Profiles not loading correctly in CTR 2.1, but CTR notify with sucessful loading. I have to disable and enable the profiles for getting the correct values.
